The gel nail trend has always concerned me, and the latest news about gel nails potentially mutating your DNA is something I really felt I should share.

I started Self Care Sundays Box because I am a big believer in slow beauty. I have often included a nail polish in curations as I value the self-care ritual of painting your nails, and way it makes you stop and slow down. I have also really worried about the damaging effects of the UV lights for gel nails, and I thought I would share this so you can make informed decisions too. Take care of yourself!

I heard this said recently as relating to our shared and individual experiences with Covid and it really struck a chord.

It's applicable to just about everything.

Everyone will be having a different experience with anything going on in their life: parenting, work, health, family. It's such a good thing to remember to let yourself own your own experience and not measure it against anyone else's, and to also know that others have things going on in their life that aren't experienced in the same way as yours, even though you may be in the same exact stage and chapter.

Self-knowledge is self-care indeed 😍

Your new favorite subscription box has arrived. Self Care Sundays Box curates an eco-luxury spa experience for 6-8 weekly at-home sessions. Every other month you receive 5+ full size beauty treatments and a treatment plan for how to use them. You will emerge from each 30 minute session re-set, having ticked off the deep clean beauty to-dos you always wanted to make time for. We use only the best clean beauty products from gorgeous British brands.

We are launching in the UK in September 2020, and in the US in 2021. Our US boxes will filled with the best clean and luxury brands made in the US, and our UK boxes contain only the best of the clean and luxury British brands. We love to support local and cut down on travel miles for your products.
