Weekend 1 ✔️

Our Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy learners kicked things off with a hands-on weekend led by our experienced tutor Stuart.

From theory to practice, everyone got stuck in, building their skills, confidence, and real-world experience from day one.

Over the course, our learners will learn how to…

✨ Perform client consultations
✨ Assess posture & joint function
✨ Apply sports massage techniques
✨ Build personalised treatment plans

And of course… LOTS of practice 🙌

We can’t wait to see everyone continue to grow and develop into confident, qualified sports massage therapists!

The committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out to visit us tonight & gave donations towards the park. (Details in the comments if you would like to donate). Seeing the kids’ excitement & smiling faces is worth spending Christmas Eve in the cal in full costume! 😂 A special thank you to the Beryl for lending us their van & trailer for Santa’s sleigh. We hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow & remember: Santa dizna come unless you are asleep! 😴

🎄✨ As I head into my final clinic of the year, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my amazing clients and their families.

This year has been the biggest and busiest yet for SD Sports & Injury Clinic, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown throughout the year.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes. I’m looking forward to continuing to help you move, recover, and perform at your best in the year ahead 💪

I’ll now be taking some time to enjoy the festives with my family and look forward to seeing you all again in January🎄

Our bodies aren’t machines — they’re living, breathing systems that constantly adapt and respond to the world around us.

When we assess your issue or pain, we think about more than just what a physical assessment shows us.

We also consider other things that may be hampering progress — including stress, sleep quality, nutrition, and many other factors that can affect how your body responds to pain.

Pain is complex and influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors — which is why effective treatment means understanding the whole person, not just the painful issue. 💆‍♂️💫

SD Sports & Injury Clinic values

✅ It’s all about you.. No two people are the same, and your treatment plan will reflect your needs

✅ Staying evidence based, staying up to date with relevant, effective practice is something I always will try to do

✅ Meaningful movement ….Getting you moving easier/ with ease is always the goal.
I don’t believe in just offering manual therapy,
with no plan or advice to improve your strength or function.

✅ If you need more than I can offer, I will refer you on, whether that’s another soft tissue therapist, Doctor, physiotherapist, or other health care professional

I want my practice to always be client centred and will strive to bring these values into every appointment
