In Touch Therapies

In Touch Therapies Deep remedial sports massage and holistic practitioner.. Alternative therapies include: Reflexology, Hopi ear candling, Indian head and Hot stone massage

I have a passion in the treatments I give and am dedicated to giving my best to my customers. Many of whom have been coming now for ongoing treatments during my plus ten years of starting my own business. I enjoy connecting with people, always listen and end up creating a treatment to suit their needs. Feedback is often given through my own intuition. Improvements can be clear, for instance during a reflexology session which is almost like an overall ‘body check’ working on the body systems through the feet! I am delighted to see the advantages of regular treatments and thank you for those customers who continue to rebook, their loyalty I am forever grateful and I feel it is a wonderful testimonial to how powerful alternative therapies can be!

The message simply read.."here's a little something to brighten your day as you do for me so many times"❤

Musculoskeletal Acupuncture otherwise known as dry needling is a focused treatment for a specific injury or symptom by using a fine needle. The needle is inserted directly into a trigger point, an area in the muscle or connective tissue (fascia) that becomes sensitive when compressed.
Dry needling has established itself as a treatment that is minimally invasive, safe, effective, is very quick and easy to apply and provides fast results from trigger point pain.
Dry needling can be a ‘stand-alone’ treatment focusing on a specific injury or symptom. It is also a method that is often used in conjunction with a treatment plan to ensure long term relief of pain and increased physical function.
The list of symptoms or conditions that dry needling can be effectively in treating are extensive, I have named a few. Please see my website for more information or do not hesitate to contact me for an informal chat to discuss the right treatment for you!

Please can you search for sports massage in Gloucestershire and when you find me, click on the link intouchtherapiesglos.co.uk on the google search page.

NEW WAYS NOVEMBER
Learning something new or getting involved in an activity that really absorbs and interests us is great for our wellbeing. Keeping our brains active is not only good for us physically but it can help you feel you are flourishing as you see yourself make progress with a new skill, or just make you smile as you make a mess and decide to start again. :) Being playful and trying new things is important, as is remembering that it's OK not to get it right first time - change "I can't do it", into "I can't do it...yet!"

OPTIMISTIC OCTOBER
when things are feeling a bit tough, it can help to set some goals. Making goals achievable and ensuring that you have a few short term as well as longer term, more ambitious goals helps us feel we're making progress. It doesn't matter if your goal for the day is something really small, the important thing is to give yourself the opportunity to feel like you've achieved something and to celebrate that!

SELF-CARE SEPTEMBER
Self-care isn't selfish, it's essential. No-one's perfect. But so often we compare our insides to other people's outsides. Be kind to yourself (as well as others), especially when things go wrong. Self-care increases our resilience and helps us get more out of life. It also helps us accept others as they are too.

ACTION IN AUGUST...

Time to act to promote someone else's welfare. Help the human race to survive and thrive; Each of our lives is supported by countless kind acts from other people. Yet in our world today, so much is directing us to think only about ourselves - and we often forget the happiness that comes by caring for others. We want to change that. This August take one kind act per day and help create a wave of kindness to spread around the world.
