Welcome to the official South Tyneside Family Hubs page where you’ll be kept up-to-date with the latest news, services and events from your local Family Hub. We will do our best to respond as soon as possible to comments during our opening hours. These are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. South Tyneside Family Hubs provide high-quality support for families with children and young people aged 0-19 (Or up to age 25 for young people with special educational needs). Children and young people can make friends and learn, while you can also meet other parents and carers, in a safe and relaxed environment. Family Hubs promote all-round development enabling children and young people to flourish at home, school and beyond. We ask that users of this page do not post comments containing bad language, or language that could be deemed offensive to others. Family Hub staff Lynn and Hayley were invited to the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace in recognition of their fantastic work on our Early Words Together programme 👑

All Saints Family Hub and Hebburn Family Hub played host to our Global Big Latch On events, with m**s and babies alike enjoying a unique and interactive music experience courtesy of Tiny Tweeties 🎵

Scores of families joined us for a fortnight of Easter fun with an array of activities on offer 🐣

Our incredible peer support breastfeeding group worked closely with others m**s, helping them gain a qualification to support others on their breastfeeding journey! 👏🤱

Our ever-popular holiday activities returned for the first time in 2025 as families waved goodbye to winter and stepped into spring 😁
