Carelink's traditional Christmas Day meal will be available to the Ulverston community, free of charge. On a day that means so much to Lynne and the team, they want everyone to be able to celebrate Christmas, either in person or delivered.

Fantastic new initiative to support residents in Dalton North, and across the Westmorland and Furness Council area!

Some households can benefit from a handy person service. It helps elderly or vulnerable people carry out very simple but essential work at their homes.

It is free except for the cost of materials. This applies to all residents, whether you rent privately, own your home or are a Social Housing Resident

Eligible households can use the service up to six times a year.

We can help people who are

• unable to undertake the task themselves
• have no other person available to help them
• live in Westmorland and Furness Council area
• are aged 65 and over, or are

• disabled
• vulnerable
• recently discharged from hospital
• at high risk of falling due to a medical condition
• potential victims of crime referred by the police
