Poor sitting habits, particularly if in a fixed position for a long period of time, can cause postural changes, neck pain, headaches, and migraine. As you can see from the video, the areas that are also negatively impacted are the diaphragm, lymphatic flow, and the internal organs.
Frequent breaks to move and stretch & making use of a standing desk where possible, will help prevent a build-up of muscle tension, increase circulation, and allow better function of your diaphragm and gut.
A clinical massage will also improve posture, lymph and blood flow, the correct engagement of your diaphragm, and therefore your functional breathing.

🍁Hot Stones are fantastic to quickly relax tight, painful muscles. I massage with them rather than just laying them on the body.

🍁The Sensate is a brilliant tool that targets the Vagus nerve to bring about deep relaxation and to deepen and slow the breath. It is combined with gentle soothing music. Ideal to add onto the final 10 minutes of your treatment.

🍁A mini sound bath includes Himalayan singing bowls, tuning forks, and Koshi chimes.

Has the spring sunshine inspired you to get your running shoes on?! Or maybe you are returning after an injury? Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned marathon runner, sports massage will help you run more efficiently and be less prone to injury.

The Spring bundle is a great way to add in a few extras, which are excellent for runners and will allow you to try different therapies and see what is a good fit for you. You could try a different one each time. I also use the kinesiology Rock Tape and can advise you on how to apply it.

I am thrilled to be working from Emma Edwards therapies beautiful clinic at the Fairground Centre in Weyhill. I`ll be there on a Thursday and some weekends.

I work from the Lotus Clinic in Over Wallop, near Stockbridge, every Friday. Treatments available include sports, clinical and remedial massage for chronic pain and postural issues, hot stone fusion, cupping, and myofascial treatment, plus some holistic therapies too.
