We have been overwhelmed by all the love you have given us in 2025!

We started BeGrounded as a way of sharing a simple health solution to help people on their healing journey.

We didn’t realise it would lead to such a wonderful and growing like-minded community, enabling us to connect with so many supportive, uplifting and kind-hearted people along the way.

Our aim is to get as many of us of ALL ages grounding and healing every day, whether that be taking a walk in nature, sitting in the garden or taking a stroll along the beach, or by using the best quality grounding and natural energy tools we can source.

As we enter 2026, we would like to thank everyone who has got in touch, who has liked and shared our content, and especially to everyone who has bought something from our website.

We had a few days away just after Christmas to our favourite part of Cornwall- there's something about the waves and the coast which has helped us feel energised and refreshed for the year ahead.

Wishing you health and happiness for 2026 and the Year of the Horse!

More time outside, breathing fresh air, feeling the ground beneath our feet, and reconnecting with the natural world around us.

Whether it’s a quiet walk through the trees, a moment of stillness outdoors, or going barefoot and grounding your body, these small, intentional habits can have a powerful impact on your mental and emotional wellbeing.

You don’t need a big reset.

But one study looked at what happens when you simply remove the barrier between your body and the Earth.

In a controlled study published in the Journal of Inflammation Research, participants who were grounded after exercise experienced less delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) than those who weren’t.

Not just subjectively, markers of muscle damage and pain were measurably lower.

Why this matters 👇

Exercise creates micro-damage and inflammation in muscle tissue.

Inflammation isn’t only chemical, it also has an electrical component.

The Earth maintains a stable negative charge.

Direct contact allows free electrons to enter the body, which may help neutralise excess positive charge involved in inflammatory responses. In the study, grounded participants showed:

• Reduced muscle soreness
• Altered immune cell activity
• Faster recovery markers after exertion

No ice baths.
No compression.
No supplements.

Just contact.
This doesn’t mean grounding is a magic cure, but it does suggest the body may recover more efficiently when it’s electrically supported the way it evolved to be.
