Gorgeous You Coaching Body Confidence & Wellbeing Coach helping you to become the best version of you! Hello Gorgeous! Because I’ve BEEN there. Ginny x

This includes improving your body confidence, self-image, self-esteem, self-belief, self-worth, general mindset & happiness, rediscovering what makes you YOU, achieving goals I'm Ginny Marsh - Body Confidence & Wellbeing Coach at Gorgeous You Coaching, and portrait photographer at Gorgeous You Photography. This page is for you if you want to feel good about yourself, love yourself, your body, and your appearance more, improve your self-confidence, body confidence, and self-esteem. I help female entrepreneurs who lack self-esteem to love who they are, so that they can confidently show up in their business, improve their relationships and feel empowered to take on the world! I’m passionate about anything to do with body confidence, being the best version of yourself, the power of your mind, health & wellness, yoga & meditation, singing for confidence, sharing your story to inspire others, business, personal branding & visibility! Although I’ve been a photographer for about 13 years+, I always used to hide behind my camera, and would be the most self-critical person at having my own photo taken, always picking up on little things I hated about how I looked. But I’m a firm believer in practice makes perfect and the more you do something the easier it gets. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, focussed on self-love, and I started to like myself in photos. That’s why I can relate to my clients when they’re really shy and nervous about having their photo taken. But I knew there was more I could help my clients with. In 2020 I trained as a Body Confidence & Wellbeing Coach with the Institute for Body Confidence Coaching (IBCC) and it was 100% the best thing I've ever done for myself as well as others. My aim is to empower and motivate you to be who you WANT to be. I want my clients to learn to love themselves and celebrate who they are, and I want that for you too.

Not all stress looks like panic, overwhelm, or shutting down.

Sometimes stress shows up in much quieter, subtler ways…
Ways we often brush off as “just life” or “being tired.”

Here are some of the unobvious signs your nervous system might be struggling:

• Feeling more exhausted than usual
• Getting ill more often
• Brain fog or forgetfulness
• Feeling “on edge” without knowing why
• A churning stomach or changes in digestion
• Increased sensitivity to noise, mess, or other people’s moods
• Feeling like there’s always something wrong, even if you can’t name it
• Random aches, tension, tightness, or pain in the body
• Small things feeling disproportionately hard

These aren’t personality flaws.
They’re not you “not coping.”
They’re your body whispering for help long before it starts shouting.

✨ Your body is always communicating with you — the question is: are you listening?

As it’s Stress Awareness Week, try this gentle practice:

🧘‍♀️ Sit quietly (or even move, sway, or dance if stillness feels hard).
💛 Bring awareness to the part of your body that feels tight, heavy, or uncomfortable.
✨ Ask:
“What are you trying to tell me?”
“What do you need?”
“What would help you feel safer right now?”

Let the answer come as a feeling, a sensation, a word, a memory, or a knowing.
Your body holds its own wisdom.

And if you get stuck — that’s okay.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Send me a DM 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m Ginny — a body confidence & wellbeing coach, helping you feel good in your body, mind & soul.
I can help you understand what your body is really trying to tell you, and guide you toward feeling more grounded, confident, and supported from within 🤗

✨ Signs You’re Overstimulated (and What To Do About It)

Ever feel like your brain has too many tabs open or you feel absolutely exhausted for no apparent reason?
Like you just can’t take in one more sound, message, or request?
That’s overstimulation — and it’s one of the hidden roots of burnout.

Here are some signs you might be overstimulated 👇
💥 You feel anxious, irritable or snappy
💥 Your brain goes foggy or you can’t concentrate
💥 You crave silence or want to hide from everyone
💥 You feel exhausted but “wired” at the same time
💥 Even small decisions feel overwhelming

When this happens, your nervous system is basically saying,
“Too much input. I need a break.”

🌿 What To Do About It

🕯 Reduce input:
Step away from screens, noise, or bright lights.
Give yourself permission to retreat — even for 5 minutes.

🌬 Breathe + ground:
Hand on your heart, deep breath in…
Exhale slowly and feel your body’s weight.
You’re safe. You’re here.

💃 Discharge energy:
Shake it out, stretch, or take a short walk.
Movement helps release the overload.

🌸 Soothe your senses:
Wrap yourself in a blanket, light a candle,
or use a calming scent like lavender or cacao.

📴 Protect your peace:
Schedule mini pauses between tasks,
create screen-free evenings,
and honour your need for quiet time.

Overstimulation doesn’t mean you’re weak —
it means your system is wise enough to speak up.

The more you listen to it,
the quicker you can come back to calm 🤍

Let me know in the comments if this resonates… and what you do to feel calm and de-stressed ⬇️💚

✨ Burnout isn’t just exhaustion — it’s your body trying to talk to you. ✨

If you’re the kind of person who’s always there for everyone else…
The one who “keeps going,” even when you’re running on empty…
The one who says, “I’ll rest when things calm down” — but they never really do…
This is for you.

Burnout doesn’t always look like lying in bed unable to move (though it can get to that).
Sometimes, it’s far more subtle — the little signs your body gives when it’s crying out for rest, love and attention.

For me, the signs look like this:
💫 Feeling like I can’t wait to get to bed — even after a full night’s sleep…
💫 Waking up at 4am unable to sleep.
💫 Wanting to nap during the day because everything just feels heavy.
💫 Crying over the smallest things.
💫 Random aches and pains (like I’ve done a workout when I haven’t).
💫 Headaches and brain fog.
💫 Digestive issues, or a sudden change in bowel movements.
💫 That constant, low-level hum of overwhelm.

And yet… so many of us just “live with it.”
We tell ourselves there’s no time, no money, or that it’s “just life.”
But really, these are the whispers before the body starts to shout.

Your body is always speaking to you — it’s not trying to stop you; it’s trying to protect you.

So if you’re reading this and recognising some of these signs in yourself, please take this as your loving nudge to pause.
To breathe.
To check in.

You don’t have to earn your rest. 💛

When was the last time you laughed until your sides hurt, or got so absorbed in something that you lost track of time?

The pic behind this is me getting lost in music. I never saw myself as a DJ but I’m loving it, and curating dance journeys is helping with my creativity 🤩

✨ Step Two in the journey to rediscover yourself is to explore what lights you up.

Try something new. Dance in your kitchen at 8am. Book that class. Go for that long walk in nature. Create something.

The little sparks add up - and before you know it, you’ll feel your glow returning ❤️

What lights you up? I’d love to know in the comments 🤗⬇️

After a big life change (or even a period of inertia), it’s easy to cling to the “old you.” But the truth is, that version has done her job beautifully, and you’re continuously evolving into a new version of yourself. 💫

This chapter? It’s an invitation to step into someone even stronger, wiser, freer - and maybe even sassier 😉

✨ Step One to rediscover yourself after life changes is simple (but not always easy): Give yourself permission to start fresh. Stop resisting. Stop limiting yourself.

No guilt. No apology. Just the freedom to begin again.

✨Who are you becoming?
✨Who do you want to be?
