👍🏼Helping Educators and Coaches to be visible online with a website and social media marketing / strategy.
👍🏼Work from home ideas and exit planning coaching support too. I support teachers when they have made the decision to leave teaching to design a life they'll love, with a mindset for success. We have so many worries when we leave about what to do next, where to ask for help and where to reach out for support. Often leaving us with feelings of bewilderment, confusion and lacking direction. We have a free, private Facebook group (link in 'Contact and basic info') where we support each other in our new journeys after leaving teaching. I go live once a week to help teachers with designing their new pathway in life and also interview teachers who have started up their own businesses.

1:1 coaching available - send me a message. Free 30min call to talk about your journey, make sense of your feelings and where you'd like to go next in life. Resource and information to help transition out of teaching can be found on our website.

Icons and elements, less is more
Tired of cluttered posts that blur your message?

Visual noise happens fast: too many graphics, too many colours, too many ideas. Swap more for meaning.

Keep it simple:
👉 One strong image that supports your message
👉 One thoughtful accent (an arrow, tick, or simple shape)
👉 Generous white space so text and visuals can breathe
👉 Brand colours and fonts for instant polish

Picture a calm, intentional design where the eye knows exactly where to look, and your point lands in seconds.
For more clarity‑first tips, grab my free guide: 5 mistakes to avoid when designing social media posts (link in my profile).

Choose images that connect!

Stop the scroll. Your visuals should feel like your message.
Most posts fall flat because the image doesn’t match the point. Choose one high‑quality photo that truly supports what you’re saying, not five that fight for attention.

Try this:
👉 One strong, relevant photo
👉 One simple icon or shape to guide the eye
👉 Plenty of calm white space

Imagine your audience pausing because the image and words finally work together: clean, confident, and unmistakably you.

On-brand can be easy and even joyful. ✨

Here’s my calm formula to design without the time drain:
• Start with your Brand Kit (colours, fonts, logo)
• Pick a simple template (less choices = less stress)
• Set a 15‑minute timer and aim for “done, not perfect”
• Add one small personal touch (photo, phrase, or texture)

When you repeat this flow, your style shows up like magic, consistent, clear, and totally you.

😁Templates are tools, not rules.

Pick a template you like, then make it yours:
• Swap in your brand colours and fonts
• Tweak spacing for breathing room
• Replace stock with your photos and words

That’s how you get on-brand, confident designs fast, without the overwhelm.

The magic of consistent colours!

Ever wonder why some brands just look pulled together, even when they’re keeping things simple?

A big part of that “professional” vibe is colour consistency. Using the same shades across your posts helps you get recognised, look polished, and feel more in control (bye-bye, Canva colour chaos).
Would you recognise my posts without my name on them?

🎨 My tip:
Save your brand colours in Canva (it only takes a minute!).
Bonus: You’ll never have to hunt for that exact shade of “calm teal” again.

Let’s sort it in a Power Hour!

Headlines That Pop (Even If You’re Not a Designer)
Ever feel like you’re lost in a parade of loud graphics and sell-sell-sell posts?

For women educators and coaches starting a business, social media can seem like one long competition—unless you have a layout that helps your message stand out (minus the panic and perfectionism).

Here’s the real secret: you don’t have to become a designer or spend hours in Canva. Even simple changes—like bringing in more white space, or letting your headline shine—can help your next post look miles more professional and true to you.

🖼️ Try this: Pop your headline or key point at the top of your post graphic in a bold, easy-to-read font—then keep the rest of your content simple and uncluttered below. It’ll grab attention without the stress.

Curious what a calm, scroll-stopping layout could do for your business? Comment “LAYOUT” below, or DM me for a gentle tip to try on your next Canva creation!

Give your message some breathing space!

Do you feel like you're struggling to make your posts stand out among all the “look at me!” noise on social media?

If you’re a woman running your own business, it can feel impossible, like you need a graphic design degree just to get a few likes.

What if you could create posts that actually get noticed but without the overwhelm, endless font scrolling, or tech headaches?

I help women just like you keep things calm and simple, so your visuals work for your business, not against it.

✨ Quick tip:
Next time you design in Canva, try centring your main message and leaving extra space around it.
Give your words room to breathe and this helps your content stand out in a busy feed.
