We’re often asked, “What are the notes in a candle, and what do they mean?” Here’s a brief overview:
Top notes are the first scents you smell, fresh and light.
Mid notes (heart notes) are the main body of the fragrance.
Base notes are the deeper scents that linger.
Together, they create the candle’s full fragrance. 🕯️

You can look at the notes on all our fragrances on the website. Just click on the fragrance section and you’ll see each scent with all the notes related to it.

Unfortunately Culross Community Market has been cancelled tomorrow. If today’s weather at The Grassmarket is anything to go by I’ll happily go to the candle room and make some stock.

Last year’s Children’s Gala was a fantastic day! From colorful crafts and games to seeing the queen being crowned. We loved having our candle stall here chatting with people from the community.
