Looking back at through these photos I’m feeling so grateful for every person who picked up a pair of secateurs with Flower Tonic this year ✂️

It has been a total whirlwind, from doubling our numbers at The Telegraph to those quiet, late night wiring sessions at the kitchen table. I’ve spent a lot of time driving into London and even more time thinking about what I want this little business to actually look like.

I’ve spent a fair bit of time dilly dallying over the last couple of years. I love what I do, but I haven’t always given Flower Tonic the focus or the boost it probably deserves.

So, for 2026, I’ve decided to stop overthinking and just go for it. I have some big plans in the works to finally give this business the energy it needs to grow. I’m nervous but mostly just really excited to see where it goes.

120 wreaths, two days, and a whole lot of festive spirit 🎄

Last week, we were back at The Telegraph for two days of festive wreath making ✂️ 🍊🌲

The operation was fuelled by festive aromas: fresh pine, dried oranges, cinnamon, and a questionable amount of mince pies 🥧

Watching the team swap screens for stems was rewarding, but the best bit was knowing 120 handmade wreaths were heading home to take pride of place on front doors 🚪

Blooms and bonds🌷🌿✂️

We had a gorgeous night at this week’s Valentines workshop!

Lots of highlights but some main ones for me:

🌹 A group of strangers coming together to craft - decompressing with nature and learning a new skill within a group does wonders to boost those feel good hormones and get brain neurons firing

🌹 Women lifting up women - just pure, high frequency vibes. Everyone took the time to go round the room complimenting and engaging with other people's designs. This filled my heart so much

🌹 Exploring new skills and building meaningful connections - coming in as strangers and leaving as crafting comrades

🌹 Everyone given the same ingredients and coming out with a totally unique design

🌹 Thinking about these women spending the next few days admiring and appreciating their creations at home - the ultimate token of self-love that can be reminded of daily thanks to *themselves*!

Mother’s Day Flowers 💐

Hello gorgeous people 👋 The busiest weekend of the year is upon us! I have absolutely no idea how that happened but I’ve been waiting for a huge dose of Spring forever and can’t wait to get to work on your orders this week🌷

I’m touching in to say I will be doing Mother’s Day deliveries next weekend (sorry if this is a trigger for you, I know it’s a testing time for some and please feel free to mute our Mother’s Day content for the next week or so 💕)

This week is pretty jam packed & I can’t take on tons more orders for my own sanity 😅however if you would like something for a special person in your life (or for yourself, because you are absolutely special and deserve it), here are the details:

~ Fresh Flowers: Richmond-Upon-Thames only. As always fresh, seasonal, hand picked goodness, with a hand-written message. A range of bouquet sizes to choose from 🌼

~ Dried Flowers: Nationwide Delivery 🌾 Plenty of palettes to choose from 🎨

Happy 2022 all 💫

I hope you had a lovely break and we can all stop saying Happy New Year now 😅

As well as an update on the studio move and new webshop, I thought it would be useful to give you a run down of things I’m offering this year:

You can find links to all of these in my bio if you want to find out more. And since I already have bookings throughout 2022, I’d just ask that if you’re keen to book, please get in touch sooner rather than later so we can get your date in the diary! 🗓

Studio: 2021 was a mental year for me professionally and personally, let’s just say I’m happy to be leaving that one behind! We’re sadly moving from Oak Tree Cottage in just a few weeks, so I’ll be saying goodbye to my lovely studio (where has a year gone?!) But I’ll be closer to my son’s school and back to my Richmond roots again, which means closer to some of my lovely customers from the days! Fresh start etc 💕

The webshop: is currently closed, and the format moving forward will be slightly different. Rather than making flower tonic products up to order, I’ll only open the webshop to launch collections of ready-made pieces throughout the year. This means it will be 1) easier for me to manage orders around events & bookings, 2) easier for me to keep you updated on what’s on offer for you to buy and 3) better because each and every order will be 1000% hand-made, one offs and extra special! It does, however, mean that the webshop will sell out & close periodically. So please get in swiftly when there are launches & special dates like Valentines Day/ Easter etc.

Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who bought or booked with me last year. You’re all amazing and your support means the world ❤️ Have a lovely weekend!
