A movement snack is a short burst of physical activity (usually 1–10 minutes) that you slot into your day, a bit like how you’d grab a snack between meals.

👉 It’s not a full workout, it’s quick and bite-sized — but enough to get your body moving, heart pumping, and mind refreshed.

Examples of movement snacks:

2 minutes of squats, lunges or push-ups between Zoom calls

A brisk walk to make a cup of tea instead of scrolling your phone

5 minutes of stretching while waiting for the kettle to boil

Dancing to one song in your kitchen 🎶

Desk-ercise for ten minutes including seated twists & nose circles
