Physi-Jo-Therapy Physiotherapy from the comfort of your own home. I was born and bred in Gloucester, having a strong interest for all things rugby and Physio related.

My name is Jo Knight and the idea for Physi-Jo-Therapy came from me putting my name to mean something personal with the Physiotherapy that I would like to provide. I knew from the age of 11 I wanted to be a Physiotherapist, so when I graduated from The University of Bradford in 2013 with 1st Class Honors, it was a genuine life achievement. Since then, my working life has been within the NHS covering areas of physiotherapy including Stroke, respiratory and Care of the Elderly. 5 years ago, I started working in the community team delivering physiotherapy to patients in their own homes. For the past 3.5 years I have been working part-time alongside having my daughter at home and now that she has started school, I wanted to expand my scope of practice. I enjoy seeing patients in their own home where a true assessment of their ability can be carried out. It also encourages me to tailor specific programs without the use of “fancy” equipment that patients would only have if able to travel to appointments. This can be costly, potential of long delays with transport and can be so tiring that negatives outweighs the benefits. My aim is to utilize my skills and provide private Physiotherapy to patients in their own homes, who may otherwise be facing long waits for intervention, or who may be unable to access other services.
