We need stress in our lives to keep us motivated, engaged, feel accomplished, confident etc.
But sometimes stress can take over, leaving us feeling awful. Overwhelmed and depleted.
When you feel stress taking over its important to take action (even when you don't feel like it) the next time you feel overwhelmed try writing this plan out ⬇️
1. Awareness.. . Noticing that you're stressed, when you are stressed, before it gets to burnout time.
2. Why do you want/ need to lower your stress? Your reasons. (Take a good amount of time with this... lean into your reasons. This will help you engage more)
3. How are you going to actively lower your stress? What makes you feel lighter? What do you enjoy? What makes you feel good after you've done it?
4. Action it. Start small. A small, achievable goal that you want to start. Begin something even for just 15 minutes a day.
5. Transform into a habit with repetition, action and consistency. Maintain it despite setbacks.
