Sometimes we can spend all our love and energy on other people and leave ourselves depleted. 🫶
We might tell them how wonderful they are, how much they mean to us and how they bring light into our lives... this is all absolutely great... but if we're doing this and ignoring our self talk, we won't be boosting all that feel good oxytocin.
Our brains are always listening to all those negative, critical ways we use to talk about ourselves. 🧠 This can stir up how we feel, low mood, low confidence, stress and anxious thoughts.
Introducing a bit of self love and self acceptance mean that we start to speak to ourselves a little kinder and we start to feel a whole lot better.
One small positive thing....
