When we bring balance to the body and nourish our natural energy, we can ease symptoms, calm the mind, and feel renewed from within.
As we approach 50 and beyond, it’s also vital to balance activity with rest. Our bodies were probably never designed to live this long, let alone work full-time, raise children or stepchildren, and carry much of the unpaid housework, caring, and cooking.
So give yourself permission to slow down. Take time to reset your nervous system and balance your stress hormones. Read a book, be near water or in nature, and treat yourself to a well-deserved massage.
Let’s celebrate this phase for what it truly is: a time of clarity, wisdom, and renewal.
