Accessible Attitudes 2 Making disability accessible and raising awareness about different ways disability affects us all.

Accessible Attitudes 1 and 2 created by me Kerry Bignell and Daz Bignell; A place where anything connected to disability can be discussed, views aired, support and friendship offered, as well as a place to learn and be encouraged

There are too many stations across Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) that me and other disabled people can’t use. Find out if your local train stations are step-free and write to the rail company telling them why it’s important to make rail travel more accessible for disabled people.

Hi Everyone, sorry it's been a bit quiet, I'm not to well today. However, I have recently been to see my specialist. He wants me to have a Doplar Scan, have others had one? My biggest concern is getting on to the table, as I'll have to be lifted not really not looking forward to it. Any tips?

Hi everyone, hope I find you well. I've been feeling really tired and anxious lately. If you experience this, what methods do you use to deal with/cope with it. I'm on prescribed medication but sometimes it doesn't seem enough. Also, I had my blood tests done, the Emla cream worked just fine. My Urine sample came back clear, just the blood results later in the week. Finally, we're now being asked to pay a financial contribution towards our care. The first time ever, so we've made the decision to go it alone. This worries me a lot and seems grossly unfair, though I know many others are in similar positions. Tell us your stories and how you're dealing with change.

Good afternoon everyone, how are you all. In the UK it's very hot at the moment, how are you dealing with it. Don't forget, plenty of fluids,, not too much fizzy.

Hello everyone and welcome to new members. Hope we find you well. The biggest problem I experience is severe tiredness. If it's an issue for you too, how do you deal with it?
