Still feeling the magic from last night ✨
Thank you so much to Delyth Jenkins for playing the harp so beautifully — and to everyone who came and made it such a special evening 🥰 Yoga for relaxation, the fire, the sound of the harp… it was just such a peaceful, grounding night in the most beautiful space 🔥

Our next evening here is on Friday 28th November, 6.30–8.15pm — this time with live piano 🎹 with concert pianist Will Morris a mince pie and glass of mulled wine afterwards. 🍷

Can’t wait for another cosy evening.

I used to think slowing down meant I was being lazy - that I had to keep doing, keep moving, keep holding it all together.

But I’ve learned that when we pause long enough to really listen, our bodies have a way of showing us what they need.

That’s what Somatic Yoga is about.
It’s not about stretching or flexibility.
It’s about retraining your nervous system — helping your brain and body work together again after years of tension and stress.

Through slow, mindful movement, you begin to notice where you hold on — and your body learns to let go.

Somatic Yoga can help with:
• Tightness or pain that doesn’t ease with stretching
• Stress, poor sleep, or burnout
• Recovery after illness or overdoing
• Feeling disconnected from your body

This practice doesn’t replace other kinds of movement — it supports them,
helping your system reset so you can move, rest, and live with more awareness and presence.

Would you like to try Somatic Yoga?

Come and join me for a FREE CLASS at the Swansea Wellbeing Centre on Wednesday 29th October at 5.30pm.

Somatic Yoga is a gentle, grounding practice that helps release tension, calm the nervous system, and restore connection between body and mind. It’s about slowing down, moving with awareness, and giving yourself time to breathe, soften, and feel more like yourself again.

This new class is being added to what I offer at the Centre, and this free session is a lovely chance to come along, try it out, and see how it feels.

Join us on Monday, 27th October at 6pm at Little Bryn Gwyn, Gower for something truly special.

I’ll guide with gentle, grounding yoga to ease you into deep rest, as the soothing sound of Delyth’s harp fills the room.
There’ll be a log burner glowing, a turmeric latte to sip, and time to simply be — wrapped in your blanket, cocooned in calm.

As autumn unfolds, many of us feel the pull to slow down — to soften the edges and reconnect with what feels nurturing.

My 6-week Somatic Yoga course at Swansea Wellbeing Centre and in the Upper Killay Community Community Centre offers a calm space to release tension, move gently, and find your ground again as we move toward winter.

It’s a practice that meets you where you are — helping your body unwind, your breath deepen, and your mind settle.

🌿 Are you moving through menopause or a season of change, and longing for steadiness?

This couse is about gently returning to yourself — through movement, rest, and presence.

What you can expect:

• Gentle somatic movement to release tension

• Strength and balance that supports everyday life

• Restorative stillness to calm your nervous system

• Simple tools you can carry with you off the mat

• A warm, welcoming space to feel grounded and supported

Although it’s called a “course,” each class is complete in itself — designed so you can drop in and benefit without needing to follow a step-by-step progression.
