Now the dust has settled on another Ironman UK I would like to give a MASSIVE well done to Stephen Needham for his tremendous effort and result in Sunday’s race.
That is one really tough course buddy and you tackled it with intelligence and belief and true grit!!
Well done to you and all the other competitors who took part.
You are all IRONMEN now.

This absolute ⭐️ smashed it today on her first event of 2020 and started the season with a huge tick in the box, achieving one of her 2020 goals plus countless other PB’s 👏🏼✅🙌🏼

Fantastic IMTC (Tri Preston guests too) turnout at the Epic Events Cumbria Cracker.
Turned out to be a very wet and very cold ride, a challenge in those conditions but a great day out all the same 😊
Thank you all for making the effort, hope you have all dried out now.
Next event will be the annual Christmas ride, watch this space.

Weekend Round up -

Another great weekend of racing from those who have been racing.

Rounding off a brilliant season, Rachel Orton finished 3rd in her age group at the Sundowner Sprint Tri. Another strong performance and after suffering stomach issues to boot! Thats a 1st and a 3rd in 1 week!

A big well done goes out to Angie Ridgwell who came 11th in her AG at Lausanne ITU World champs, 4th Brit home. A much improved performance from Angie who is now planning a rest before her training starts for the Edmonton Champs next year.

Cara Pendleton was racing the Sundowner half and was doing great in 2nd position in her AG only to suffer a disastrous puncture, which due to a snapped valve extender rendered her unable to continue. Great prospects for next year Cara. Unlucky but well done.

And once again a well done to Shirley Hunt in completing the Coniston end to end and Michael Gregson for completing his first OW swim doing the FC.

A secret well done to another IMTC athlete who got bronze in her AG - well done ????? from us all.

IMTC athletes are continuing to do yourselves proud, you inspire others with your achievements. Well done and see you all soon.

Great morning at West Lancs Triathlon for taking her 1st age category win after only completing her first ever triathlon earlier this year! Well done Rachel 👏🏼🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Capernwray Midweek Tri - what a brilliant event this is. Good turnout, a PB by Rachel, the start of a comeback by Coach Chris and double Bolton IM return to racing for Tony and Jonathan.
Plus a great result for Mel and Liam from Tri Preston.
Well done to you all.
Only one more race left in the midweek series so if you fancy a short tough race then get yourself up to Caperwray.
