At 48 (and Dougal at 84 🐾), we’re moving at a gentler pace these days 🤪😅
The menopause journey continues — hot flash, anyone? — but I’m embracing movement that feels good in this body: slower, steadier, more curious.
A little bio for anyone new to my classes 😊

🛼 I was a shy, good girl who loved to express herself through movement — bike rides, roller skates, netball. Yoga found me in my 20s, and my practice has deepened with every decade.
👗 Fashion was always a passion (and my first career). After 20 years in London, I’m loving being back in the North East — these days I’m all about soft furnishings and colour drenching 😅
🍼 After my son was born, I discovered I had a prolapse. I was devastated, but (stubbornly, as ever!) refused to accept “that’s just how it is.”
💥 Hypopressives changed everything.
👊🏻 That’s why I want more women to know — from menarche to menopause, we’re left to figure so much out ourselves. Well hell, let’s crack on 💫
🎂 Nearly 49 and post-menopause, I’m still adapting. Managing fatigue, weight gain — and lifting heavy things 💪
✨ Feldenkrais has become my quiet superpower: helping me slow down, ease tension, and think more clearly. Honestly? Its’s a little bit of magic.
