This is a first for me; a chainsaw awareness course on a canal narrow boat😎. Massive thank you to James & Meg who made me feel really welcome on a cold day, but in the beautiful city of Bath on the Kennet and Avon Canal if you would like more info on Chainsaw awareness courses please let me know...designed for the person who does not need a qualification but would like to know how to maintain and operate one safely....cheers Lee

Fantastic effort from this young student…safe corner cut👍 tree got hung up🌲 hinge reduction😎 and process using the mighty ECHO Global 2511wes 😍 a perfect saw for small tree felling and processing…check it out👍and I might of mentioned this before...Big trees Big saw, Small trees small saw😎

Part 2: Danish pie/Safe Corner felling cut Demo for my students…keep it simple, Explain, demonstrate, imitate and practice…easy really 😎👍🌲🪓.

All 4 lads went on to pass their felling assessments 👍.

Congratulations to Jake, Zack, Euan and Joe who all passed their small trees felling assessments👍🍺.

Congratulations to Sam, Tycho, Dan, Charlie, Anthony, Harry and Riley who passed their respective assessments this week😎🍺...woodchipper, Brush cutters and Pole Pruners.

Great to take young Stefan through his CPD chainsaw Refreshers course...thank you Stef👍🍺.

And finally good luck to Alfie, Justin and Harry who have their CS39 assessments tomorrow 💪😎.

Another brilliant week of training & assessing here at LBS😍.

Our Tom taking Alfie, Izaak, Nial and Sam for their tree climbing and Ariel rescue course in challenging weather this week 💪.

Our Geoff taking Harry, Dan, Oliver and Jake through their chainsaw cross cut maintenance course....congratulations on passing lads 🍺🍺.

Congratulations to Joe, Ewen, Zak and Sarah (free course prize winner) who all passed their chainsaw assessments this week🤩.

Our Colin & Bill taking 8 Somerset Council ground staff through their PA1/6 course...congratulations lads on passing 😎.

And yours truly taking assessing Phil, Tom and Sean for their chainsaw cross cut maintenance assessments👍and finally on Friday, taking Dan and Charlie from Somerset Drainage Boards Consortium Somerset Rivers Authority for their Pole Pruner course😁.

I often get asked…Why hang a tree up 🤔 easy answer really….it’s all part of the felling course syllabus, in order to allow students the opportunity to practice getting their tree down safely, either with a felling bar, winch or other method…it’s called Training 😁😎🌲💪☕️🪓.
