Hello loves.
Those of you who know me well know that I have been a Weleda Wellbeing Advisor since 2018.
I started because I was inspired by the ethics of the company and all that is done to do as little harm as possible to the planet.
In fact, since the company was founded in 1921, Weleda has worked to positively impact people and the planet, using methods that increase biodiversity by using organic and biodynamic methods to grow the ingredients.
Weleda successfully became a B Corp and they continue to improve their scores. They aren’t ‘standing on their laurels’ far from it. Always looking for more planet positive options, including manufacturing, packaging and distribution.
When we choose natural we are supporting traceable ingredients, and encouraging responsible practices. I’m not alone in wanting to make a difference. I know that many of you are too
What was a deciding factor in making my mind up to use Weleda and then to train to become an Advisor, was when I heard the shocking information related to the “regulations” about claiming something is “natural” and/or “organic”.
😳😱😳 There only needs to be a tiny percentage of natural/organic ingredients for a company to use images and sell their product as natural/ organic 😳😱😳
That’s where NATRUE is hugely helpful to us as consumers. They are independent regulators who do all the background work to give consumers confidence. They dig way beyond what the labels might imply. Labels and advertising can be pretty misleading and I very much appreciate an independent body doing the leg work in finding out what’s what.
When you see Natrue’s logo you know that the product:
💚 is made with natural & organic ingredients
💚 contains no microplastics
💚 contains no synthetic fragances
💚 contains no mineral oils
💚 is not tested on animals no
💚 uses authentic ingredients
💚 manufacturers are transparent and source ingredients responsibly
💚 has been independently certified by Natrue
Basically you are buying what you think you are: a product that is natural and organic.
