I need to get real with so I do any woman reading this justice.

I don’t care if you can dance. If you have two left feet. I love to dance but I am not a ‘dancer’.

I don’t care how confident you appear, what clothes you wear or what your job title is.

I care about what you say to yourself when nobody is watching. I care about how you feel about your body when stripped bare.

I care about your dreams and if you are going for them. I care about your relationships and if you feel alive, seen, held and loved in them.

I care about your deep and inner confidence and you connecting to that on your terms. By your truth.

And that is the whole reason behind the Carnival of Complete Confidence.

Once upon a time, I was invited to the Queen’s Garden Party.

It wasn’t because of who I knew. It was because of the work I was leading — an international social impact programme called Think Big.

It started with a simple but radical idea:

✨ What happens when you tell a young person who’s never been believed in before… “I believe in you”?

I saw first-hand what that belief could unlock:
🔥 worth
🔥 resilience
🔥 fire in their belly to create change

We gave thousands of young people the chance to bring their ideas to life. And in return, I witnessed the magic that happens when someone finally sees their own value, worth and the confidence that creates.

That work led me all the way to being honoured at the Queen’s Garden Party in 2012.

But here’s what I’ve realised, no one else can crown you.

Not royalty.
Not a boss.
Not a title.
Not even the people who love you most.

The real crowning moment happens when you see your own worth. When you stop waiting for permission. When you finally claim the crown that’s been yours all along.

That’s the moment I live for in my work today.

The moment a woman remembers who she is. When she unshackles the self-doubt, drops the mask, and stands in her power.

Fully seen, fully herself.

I don’t know about you but don’t you find that most western cultures are repressed AF?

Like move your body but keep it to the bedroom, or the club.

Wear the sexy outfit, but then bear the shame or judgement of being “too much”.

Dance like a goddess but only if you’re in your 20’s and perfectly toned.

But in so many other parts of the world this is not the case.

When I went to Rio first in 2015 it cracked me open.

People moving with joy and rooted confident that needed no translation. In community. In unified and individual rhythms.

We live so much in our minds. Thinking about the next thing we’re going to do and how that these actions will unlock this state we’re craving.

To feel enough, confident, finally secure and at ease.

But it never comes.

Because we’re missing the point.

Life is only happening now and when you choose to be grateful and to live and love yourself in the moment of life, everything shifts.

And the gateway to this shift is your body.

This is what I learnt from the years of being immersed in the culture of Carnival.

It shifted everything I ‘thought’ I knew about confidence and took me on a journey to create Complete Confidence - a love letter to any woman ready to remember and reclaim who she is.

And here’s the thing to break the patterns holding us back we need to take ourselves OUT OF OUR usual environments, put ourselves SOMEWHERE NEW and let it move us.

It is here through the wisdom in your body all of a sudden the spell you are under breaks and you connect to the truth that was there all along. BEAUTIFUL YOU.

Birthday reflections.

Three lionesses in their natural habitat.

This birthday week in my spiritual home has been heart opening, soul nourishing and in flow.

Looking back on the past year of my life and all the lessons, love and growth, I’m so grateful for every single moment.

This was the year I said yes, invested and stretched myself beyond the limitations of my mind. I’ve lent into fear, danced with it and chose to jump…again and again.

I’ve found and connected to my voice and truth and put myself into a community of other women who see and believe in me. I saw imposter as a green light, showed my vulnerabilities and slayed deep layers of shame. I did this all with my mentor and the Vortex - belonging I’ve always been craving and the home I’ve now found ❤️.

By being myself, grateful and in love with life, magic has unfolded. Offers, opportunities, new clients coming in from frequency and connection to truth. The more I saw myself the more the woman stood in front of me could see herself because she is me and I’m her.

When I fully embodied complete confidence, the universe met me there and this is just the beginning for me and for you.

We’re just getting started.

Celebrating 25 years of love, affection, respect, growth and endless fun in the sun (and rain).

It means everything to be in our place, where we met and shared so many incredible moments.

I’ve built more family, love and fortune on the dance floor than in 20 years of boardrooms.

I was 14 when I first entered a nightclub. I’d crafted an MI5-level plan to sneak in without my parents knowing. But there was a weak link, and two hours later, I was escorted out by the bouncer to my Dad, waiting outside (we were both mortified).

Still in those two hours lit something in me.

By 15, I was deep into the house music scene, raves and club nights across the North of England, then the UK, and eventually the world.

I dropped ballet, two grades away from teaching level, for something bigger. A space where I could fully express myself, find myself, connect with others and be free.

30 years of experiences filled with joy, love, connection and probably the best personal development work I’ve ever done. Alongside 6 weeks in hospital post brain surgery as the best retreat 😉.

This week I returned from in Croatia and was reminded exactly why this still is so much a part of me and will never leave.

Because the dance floor is more than music:

It’s a playing field with no hierarchy.
No fixed rules.
A culture created by people moving together to the rhythm.
It’s where masks drop, where we connect at a deeper level, and where magic happens.

It’s on dance floors that I’ve:

✨ Built a chosen global family of lifelong friends
✨Downloaded ideas that became businesses
✨ Made connections that grew my work and my world
✨Fallen in love
✨Sparked creativity and courage I’ve carried everywhere
✨ Made a baby (not literally!)

I’ve achieved more on dance floors than I ever did in 20+ years in offices in innovation, creativity and connection. The feminine energy parts of leadership.

The lessons:

🎯 The more you play, the easier work becomes.
🎯 Expression liberates you and those around you.
🎯 Culture is created by bravery, and connection is the current.
🎯 Confidence is fluid, and the body is the gateway.

Put yourself in environments that light up your soul, and take that energy into every room you enter.
