This is a fantastic opportunity that has arisen to join our dynamic team on our Maternity Unit. As a Midwifery Assistant you will be expected to support the Midwives to provide high standards of care to women and babies who use our service.

The Maternity Unit is a 17 bedded Unit combining Antenatal and Postnatal ward with a 4 bedded Delivery Suite and dedicated Maternity Theatre.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with good communication skills who enjoys working as part of a team in a challenging area. If you are someone who thrives on unpredictability with health care experience, we would love to hear from you!

Claire Heaton wants to thank our wonderful staff for looking after her husband. Well done everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just want to give a massive thank you to the ones that helped my hubby when he took ill a couple of weeks ago. My husband had a seizure at work which resulted in him falling and banging his head against the concrete floor. Turns out he had a inner ear infection that he didn’t know he had, which had spread into his brain causing localized meningitis. What a rollercoaster it’s been! But I want to thank the paramedics, a&e, the porters that helped getting him into the hospital, ward 2 & 1 and for the ambulatory team! Without you all he wouldn’t be where he is at today! You all made one of the scariest times a lot more calmer and I can now look back and think how different this all could of been, but I’m happy to say it’s not the worst and he’s in a really good place now! Thank you all so so much! You all do such an amazing job and we really can’t thank you all enough! 🙌🏻
