relaxation

reduction of tension

aids sleep

improves mood

increases wellbeing. By spending time relaxing and getting into the parasympathetic state this can help with general wellbeing and fantastic for stress relief. I have advanced training in fertility, maternity, menopause and children/baby reflexology. I also offer facial reflexology, the Mian Dui treatment is a fusion of uplifting facial massage, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, facial reflexology and working the face with crystals. I offer reflexology in my private home treatment room in Bishop's Stortford. The luxurious and relaxing treatment is £50 for a 1 hour treatment.

The festive countdown is about to begin and somehow, the days seem to speed up just when we need to slow down...

Soon we'll all be busy planning, shopping and writing endless lists to prepare for the busy festive times... it's easy to slip into autopilot when life gets chaotic.

💜 Remember to allow yourself to *pause* every so often and feel your feet on the ground - calmness and connection with the present, starts from within 💜

Autumn Wellness!

With the 'silly season' fast approaching I am noticing that clients are already feeling a little hyper and worrying about the festive season. If we don't adjust our wellbeing, it can lead to feelings of frustration, overwhelm, affects sleep etc

Top 3 self care tips to minimise worry and overwhelm during this busy time of year:

Look after your mind and body:
One in three people in the UK have reported suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) during the winter months so it’s important to invest in your mental and physical wellbeing and seek help if you’re feeling blue.

Take time to relax:
Take some time each day to relax. Find what works for you, whether that’s relaxation breathing, caring for your plants, going for a run, or getting up and moving to your favourite feel-good tunes. Or booking a treatment with me (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)!! 🤣

Try embrace it:
The colder months can be tough on us all but remember they won’t last forever. Try not to wish your days away and look at ways of switching up your self care to nourish your mind and body.

Thank you for an amazing swim holiday.

It was a challenge with swimming 20km over the week in the open water and facing my anxieties around feeling sea sick on a boat, fear of jelly fish (I did get stung once) and worries of not being fit enough.

Thanks to the amazing guides, my awesome swim buddies and the lovely swimmers I met on the trip. I'll be back for another challenge 🏊‍♀️

🌟 Fertility Reflexology 🌟

Fertility clients make up about a quarter of my clients and I love supporting fertility clients with managing their stress and regulating their hormones to give them the best chance to conceive.

Fertility reflexology can help regulate the menstrual cycle, support ovulation, and increase the chances of conception. Fertility reflexology is a safe and natural way to support reproductive health, and it can be used alongside conventional medical treatments. However, it's important to note that fertility reflexology does not guarantee pregnancy, and it should not replace medical advice or treatment for infertility.

I am a firm believe in a holistic approach to everything so many of my clients have reflexology alongside medical care and also use other holistic therapies like acupuncture too. Working with the key indicators identified I begin the treatment with relaxing the body and mind. I work very specifically on certain reflexes around the reproductive and endocrine systems.

🌟 Reflexology for Hormonal balance 🌟

My most popular treatments are for perimenopause or menopause support.
As a woman who is also starting to see changes in my cycle and navigating hormonal anxiety, I definitely know how important it is to adapt my health and wellbeing according to my cycle.
