This is excellent news! An important step forward for everyone, as hearing impairment affects a large number of children today. Anything that helps people feel more comfortable wearing their aids, has to be good.

“Approximately 20,000 children between 0-15 years of age are moderately to severely deaf, and there are about 12,000 children between this age range who were born deaf.” Extract from NHS UK, Hearing loss.
