Yesterday, I finally met up with — at Halesworth Golf Course, and what an energising and value-filled conversation it was!

We explored everything from the current challenges within UK midwifery, to the unique position of living between three hospital catchments (N&N, James Paget and Ipswich), to the core values that guide us when truly supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum.

It’s incredible to meet someone whose ethos so closely aligns with mine. We’re now laying the foundations for a collaborative referral pathway for women across South Norfolk and Suffolk — bringing together Independent Midwives, Women’s Health Physios, and other professionals to offer joined-up, woman-centred care.

This is just the beginning of something really special. 🌿💛

We’re looking to expand this network — and we’d love your help!
Are you (or do you know) a lactation consultant in the Halesworth, Woodbridge, South Norfolk or Suffolk area?

Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive perinatal community.

Amazing morning at with owner Kye, where I brought a post-natal physio patient for a joint session and coaching meeting.
Together, we explored cyclical training, pregnancy & post-natal considerations, and the specific cues and programming that help mums train safely and confidently.

Classes are brilliant—but they don’t always fit around nap times, feeding schedules or childcare.
Having access to a supportive gym environment from 6am–9pm gives mums the freedom to train when it works for them.

And yes—the research is clear: lifting weights is not only safe, it’s essential for post-natal recovery, strength and wellbeing. 💪

So happy to be building connections that help more women feel at home in the gym.

If you’re a mum wanting to feel stronger, more confident, and better supported in the gym, message to book a session—or let’s chat about how we can tailor training to your stage of recovery.

Despite the torrential rain of Storm Claudia, these amazing women (and their little ones!) showed up, moved their bodies, and absolutely smashed a cardio and core session.
We ended with a relaxation focused on loving the bodies we have and honouring everything they’ve carried us through.

After class, we stayed chatting, drinking tea, and testing out a new-to-us cookie dough protein ball recipe. These moments matter—connecting, unloading the motherload, and watching our children play together. No one was in a rush to step back into the rain!

Getting my pink back — face plants and all 💖🏑

Pausing for kids doesn’t mean giving up passions. Turns out they were waiting for me 💗

I've tried tennis, running, yoga, sea swimming and barre but nothing hits like hockey for me.

8 years later… still got the buzz (and the bruises) 🌸
