LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF // As I now feel like it’s time to pick up the coaching & wellbeing baton again, I feel it’s a good time to introduce myself.
🌳 I have spent most of my career doing what I was ‘good’ at & therefore have spent most of my adult life doing marketing, business development & leading teams for global & local companies, charities & educational establishments.
🌳 After having a transformational year 9 years ago when I had experienced a burn out and nearly lost the use of my legs, I turned to find a coach to help me make my way through the experience. I then realised that my values really aligned with coaching, supporting people with their wellbeing and I then designed my life to include supporting people & also working as a consultant helping brands I love with their marketing.
🌳 During the last 5 challenging years, I let fear come to play & made the choice to go into more of an employment route - in the charity, wellbeing and education sector - doing work that aligned with my values more. I learnt an awful lot & am thankful of gaining all that experience but I had to protect my energy so I let go of coaching over the last few years as I was giving so much energy to my full time role.
🌳 2025 has been another transformational year and interestingly marks the end of a nine year cycle. My dad died unexpectedly, I got made redundant and I lost the house I was looking to buy. I have really taken a lot of this year to be with myself & be in this fertile time of grief, loss and space & I am now reimagining my next chapter and I have the energy to look to help others.
🌳 I stand here today, in this chaos that we are currently living in, never more sure that we all need a wellbeing toolkit for modern day living. A good friend over the summer said to me that I had found a toolkit so when I went into this challenging time, I had that set of tools that helped me survive & also stand today thriving and excited about my next chapter.
🌳 I love trees & nature & the more I go down this track called life, I realise how important our nature is & how it is imperative we stay connected to nature in this growing movement of AI.
