About Me

Hi, I’m Yvette, a mother of 3 wonderful boys, I am a HypnoBirthing Practitioner, NCT Antenatal Teacher and a Birth and Beyond Practitioner. I am passionate about all things birth and baby related and have been ever since I had my first baby in 2009.

Back then I hadn’t really given birth much thought, I always knew I wanted children and my husband and I were excited to be pregnant with our first child. It was my husband who suggested we do a HypnoBirthing course to prepare for the birth. His colleague had an amazing experience with HypnoBirthing and highly recommended it. I was open to the idea and thought it sounded good. We attended the course and the experience bought us even closer together. We looked forward to our weekly sessions, we practiced the breathing techniques and visualisations and I listened to my CD, excited about meeting our little baby. But it wasn’t until I experienced birth first hand that I realised how powerful and special having a HypnoBirth actually was. After my baby was born, I was the talk of the labour ward. Midwives were coming in to meet me, they were all talking about the “amazing HypnoBirth” that happened the night before….it was then I thought, wow, why don’t all women learn to birth like this? From that moment on, the seed had been planted. Shortly after having my second baby at home, I retrained and studied to become an NCT Antenatal Teacher, with the University of Worcester. I wanted to gain knowledge to help couples have better birth experiences. Following on from this, I qualified as a HypnoBirthing Practitioner.

I continue to teach NCT Antenatal courses, as well as HypnoBirthing courses and love meeting parents to be and supporting them through their journey into parenthood. I feel blessed to be able to share my passion and knowledge with so many parents during this very special time in their lives.
