Our Story

Medi-K was founded by Kay Patterson, a registered Paramedic and keen rider. Medi-K quickly became the go-to provider of specialist first aid training for the equestrian sector across the UK. Having spent nearly 8 years growing Medi-K to the size it is now, in 2020 Kay and her partner Ian realised that they needed more support with running and managing the courses, and Medi-K became a member of the First Aid Training Co-operative.

First Aid Training Co-operative are a national first aid training co-operative who support their members through cooperative working and shared administrative support, quality assurance and trainer support and development. ISO9001 Approved and delivering truly high quality training experiences they are the perfect fit for Medi-K.

This allows Kay and Ian to step back and enjoy time riding again whilst still working as full time paramedics! We provide a full suite of equestrian sector specific first aid courses and are the preferred provider for many of the sector’s biggest organisations. You can find full details on our website www.Medi-K.co.uk
