I can’t tell you how many women come to me saying they just need to “be better”.

More disciplined.
More consistent.
More motivated.

And I’m always like… it’s not that.

You’re not failing because you’re lazy.

You’re trying to follow plans that were designed for someone who has loads of spare time, no stress, and can apparently live in the gym.

Most of the women I work with are juggling work, family, relationships, social stuff, life admin… and then wondering why they can’t manage five workouts a week and meal prep twice on a Sunday.

Fitness shouldn’t feel like another job on your to-do list.
It should make your life easier.

You should feel stronger.
More capable.
More confident.

Not shattered and thinking about macros 24/7.

You don’t need to live and breathe the gym to get strong.

You just need a plan that actually fits your life.

If that sounds like the kind of approach you’ve been looking for, we’ll get on very well 🤍

It’s gotta taste good too 🤤

Salmon for protein and omega-3s - great for skin, brain, and hormones. 🐟
Sushi rice cooked in homemade bone broth because carbs can be nourishing and flavorful. 🍚
Edamame and pak choi for fiber, micronutrients, and balance. 🌱
Avocado for healthy fats that keep you full and help absorb nutrients. 🥑
Gyoza because food should be satisfying, not perfect. 🥟
And sriracha with mayo because flavor matters.

This is protein, fats, carbs, fiber, and joy… all in one bowl.

Different season. Same commitment. New approach.

Reminded myself I was an artist first…

This is the first time in years I have sat down to paint, YEARS. Had to remind myself I did a whole art degree 🤣

Felt gooood though, even if I had no idea what to do 🙃😂

I spoke in my most recent Postpartum Diaries video about not having a hobby, so for an hour a week I’m doing something for myself, and last week was painting.
Whats one thing you do for yourself each week?

Let me reintroduce myself…

I’m Xenia. First time mum, chaotic life liver, to-do lister, personal trainer, nutrition coach, mum club fitness runner and occasional abstract painter.👋🏼

I’ve been training since I was 16 and I fell in love with the way lifting heavy makes you feel. For me, the love came from the thrill of doing something I previously couldn’t do and then materialised into understanding how important fitness and strength training would be in motherhood and old age.

In 2020, after many years of people suggesting it- I decided to study to become a PT. I was going to open a whole ass business in the middle of a global pandemic, I was going to take a risk and jump head first.

Now 6 years later, after deep diving into many qualifications, I can safely say I understand how to make you strong and keep you that way, not just for now but for forever.

I’ve built a community of strong ladies, who show up every day for themselves, to better themselves. I train mums, who’s babies are (literally) attached to their hips in class. I train busy ladies who have such high stress jobs, but need 30 minutes to themselves before they combust. I train pre-menopausal ladies who want to start now… to aid what’s to come. The list is endless.

My approach is adaptable, accessible and educational⚡️

I will NEVER GUIILT trip you.
I will NEVER DISMISS your worries.
I will NEVER STARVE YOU.

I will ALWAYS ADAPT to what life throws at you, because rigidity only works for so long.

I will ALWAYS CHEER you on, because even if you can’t see it, just starting is such a win.
I will ALWAYS BE HONEST with you, because as much as I offer a gentle approach, I am here to coach you and guide you.

This is how I coach.
Always has been. Always will be.
And if that resonates with you, you’re already in the right place 🩷

1. Scheduling them into my day like a work meeting: If they’re in the diary, they must get done. You don’t get a choice to cancel your important work meeting, don’t cancel this important movement for your future self.

2. Having an acceptable second: what I mean by this is, if time is short or something crops up, or the baby won’t nap- what can you do instead that will still mean you move your body in some way? Is it a quick yoga class, or a brisk stroll with the buggy, or 30 minutes instead of 45. Have a list of ‘acceptable seconds,’ so you never get stuck.

3. Follow a plan: when we’re busy we don’t have time to think about writing a workout, or scroll through workouts on instagram, we just need to do. Having a bespoke programme can really help you stay time efficient, take away the “thinking” barrier which often leads to procrastination and allows you to track your progress week in and week out- making you more determined to see results.

These are the 3 ways I’m going to stick to my training goal this year. If you need help structuring your workouts, finding those acceptable seconds or even planning your week, drop me a dm or click the link in my bio ❤️

Stepping into 2026 with more intention. Choosing habits that support me, not drain me. Less perfection, more care and trusting that the small, consistent choices matter.

Postpartum Diaries 🤍
We’re rebuilding who we are, not who we were and this week looked like “nothing”… but it really wasn’t.

✨ Survived a rough few weeks of Olivia being poorly
✨ Trained 3x (twice in normal clothes because… life 😂)
✨ Kept the house tidy
✨ Finished all my Christmas shopping
✨ Wrote every client programme for the new year
✨ Watched a whole film uninterrupted with Ed
✨ And even went on a date with Ed (feat. sushi, clearly the biggest win 🍣😂)

Minimal sleep. Full plate. Feeling proud, grateful, and pretty accomplished.

I used to think progress had to be obvious.
Now I know it looks like clearing a room, lifting a bar again, and choosing to try tomorrow.
If you’re in this season too, follow along… next week’s diary is coming.
