Reflexology - uses the application of pressure on specific areas of the feet, hands and ears. This treatment is most commonly carried out on the feet.
In the feet, there are reflex areas corresponding to all the parts of the body and these areas are arranged in such a way as to form a map of the body. The right foot corresponds to the right side of the body and the left foot corresponds to the left side of the body.

Swedish Massage - based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology, as opposed to energy work on "meridiens" or sen lines in Asian massage systems. It is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West.
Using a simple massage medium e.g. almond oil, light and deep pressure is applied using the four common strokes:-
•Effleurage: a smooth, gliding stroke used to relax soft tissue
•Petrissage: the squeezing, rolling, or kneading that follows effleurage
•Friction: deep, circular movements that cause layers of tissue to rub against each other, helping to increase blood flow and break down scar tissue
•Tapotement: a short, alternating tap done with cupped hands, fingers, or the edge of the hand
