Today was going to be a quieter day for me so I decided to sign myself up for the free Canal & River Trust Let's walk - Pontymoile.

We were led by the amazing Steve (in the red coat) whose knowledge of the canals was just phenomenal. I learnt so much and realised just how much is actually on my doorstep that I took for granted.

Met such lovely people too, and we all got talking. I'm really glad I signed myself up. There are so many other free events they're hosting (check Eventbrite). Thank you all for making a soggy walk a very enjoyable experience.

Finding the right counsellor can make all the difference in your counselling experience.

Find a counsellor you can connect with, feel safe, heard and not judged with whatever it is you want to bring to counselling.

Make sure your counsellor is fully qualified and is registered with a governing body, it ensures they practice ethically.

Most counsellors offer a free Introductory call, use this as an opportunity to find the right one for you. Ask your questions, trust your instincts.

It can take time, but find the right support for you!!!

As of today, Cyfannol Women’s Aid is now delivering VAWDASV accommodation and community support services in Caerphilly 🎉

Following a recent retendering process, we’re proud to extend our person-led, trauma-informed approach to individuals and families in Caerphilly - building on the support we already provide across Torfaen, Newport, Blaenau Gwent and Monmouthshire.

Together, we’re working towards a future where everyone feels safe from harm, abuse and violence 💛

I am so excited that I can officially share that my Rewind Therapy course is complete and I'm now able to offer this to clients.

Rewind Trauma Therapy is an effective technique for managing the impact of trauma, flashbacks and PTSD. This short-term imagery-based technique is used to help process and reduce the impact of traumatic memories.
