We had the utmost privilege to attend the National Care Awards in London where we were nominated for Care home of the Year 💜 though we didn’t win as a home, we are so incredibly proud to have been nominated for such a prestigious award and as a group, Care UK won an award for Large Care Home Group of the year 🏆 we want to thank each and every one of you for your support and we look forward to our bright future together 💜

🌹 Lest We Forget 🌹
Today we remember all those who gave their lives, those whose lives were forever changed and those who continue to serve around the world ♥️ we were proud to go and support our local Remembrance Parade, with both colleagues and family members taking part! Doreen, Harold and Pauline had a wonderful time visiting the town centre for the occasion 💜

🌟 We are so proud to launch our Carers Cafe every Friday in the Cleves Place Day Club! 🌟

Every Friday 12-2pm you can come along, meet our Day Club Manager Leanne and spend some time with other people who care for loved ones and share your experiences or find support. Open to all who may find this safe space beneficial 💜 🤝

We have two fantastic things to celebrate! Firstly, congratulations to Debbie for her Long Service Award, as she has spent 5 years with us at Cleves Place, first as a carer and more recently as a Team Leader! 💜

Secondly, congratulations to Sheila who has become our new Residential Lead! We know you will bring great things to the role and wish you all the luck with this new venture! 💜

Congratulations and very well done ladies, we are so proud to have you both in our team!

Join us this morning in our Coffee Shop 11-12 for a cuppa and cake! £1.50 for a hot drink and sweet treat and if you want to take some home then it’s 50p per treat! Come and help us raise some money for this fantastic charity 💚

At the end of August, we donned pink and sold lots of sweet treats for Breast Cancer Now and raised a fantastic total of over £130! Thank you to all who attended our Bake Sale and helped us to fundraise for this brilliant charity 🩷

A HUGE thank you from all of us to each and every one of you who supported our Summer Fete! Your support enabled us to raise £700 for our residents, including a generous portion from Kirsty who donated her concert fee to our total and a donation from a relative who rounded us up 💜 we are beyond grateful and proud of our Cleves family! We look forward to seeing you all again on December 6th for our Christmas Fete 🎄

We had a very special afternoon in memory of a beloved lady who lived at the home for many years, in the form of a takeaway lunch from Chippy’s and a stunning performance from Kirsty Beckett and lovely dancer Faye who brought many of us to tears with a Viennese waltz to Andre Rieu’s ‘The Rose’ 💃🎶
