Alan Bushell of Minehead, passed away peacefully on Saturday 10th January 2026 aged 93 at Countess of Chester Hospital. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

In memory of Alan, a funeral service will take place at 11.20am on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at Taunton Deane Crematorium followed by Burial at Old Cleeve Woodland Burial Ground. Donations in Alan’s memory will benefit St Margaret’s Hospice Taunton and can be given at the service or sent c/o the Funeral Directors. Family Flowers Only.

Janet Audrey Tymms of Williton, formally of Northamptonshire, passed away peacefully on Monday 19th January 2026 aged 78 at Home in Williton. She will be deeply missed by Husband Geoffrey, Children and all her further family and friends.

Joy Irene Prince of Cornwall, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 7th January 2026 aged 83 at her Home in Cornwall. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Sarah Valentine passed away suddenly on Saturday 6th December 2025 aged 49. She will be deeply missed by daughter Melanie, younger sister Christine along with her extended family and friends. Soon to be reunited with her late Mum, Dad and Children. Sarah was Known for her love of pets, with many Cats & Dogs over the years.

Recently, Mark conducted a service for a truly special young man from Bridgwater, whose lifelong passion was VW Vans. In tribute to his love, his final journey was made in a VW Van Hearse, and he was laid to rest in a fully bespoke coffin designed as a VW Van.

This service reflects the level of care and detail we strive for in everything we do. Every life is unique, and we believe every farewell should be too. From the smallest touches to the most bespoke requests, we will always go to every length to honour loved ones in a way that truly reflects who they were.

John Vincent Antony Murphy of Watchet, peacefully passed away on Wednesday 31st December 2025 aged 56 at Musgrove Park Hospital. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

A funeral service will take place in memory of John on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 10am at Taunton Deane Crematorium. Donations in memory of John are being sent to British Heart Foundation & My Lungs My Life (COPD Charity) and can be given on the day or via the Funeral Directors. On Saturday, we had the honour of conducting the service for Sandra Floyde, a much-loved and deeply respected lady from Porlock and across West Somerset. Nick conducted a beautiful service, and it was truly moving to see so many people travel from far and wide to pay their respects to such a special lady.

Our thoughts are with Sandra’s family, friends, and everyone who knew her.

Recently, we had the honour of conducting a funeral for a young gentleman whose passion for scooters was at the heart of who he was. In his memory, his riding group escorted him on his final journey, a powerful and moving tribute that spoke volumes about the bonds formed through a shared love of the road. As he arrived, the crematorium was filled with the unmistakable sound of scooters and bikes a fitting farewell that reflected the life he lived and the joy scooters brought him. Adding a deeply personal touch, his own helmet was proudly placed on his coffin, a symbol of his passion and the journey he now continues in spirit. A truly unique and meaningful service, honouring a life lived with freedom, friendship, and a love of scooters that will never be forgotten. 🛵

Janet Rance passed away peacefully on 19th December 2025 at Winsor Nursing Home, Minehead, aged 86. Born in Windsor, Berkshire, she later settled in Somerset. Always an outdoors person, she enjoyed a lifelong love of horses, gardening and walking. A well‑known member of local walking groups, she will be greatly missed.
