We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Orlando has WON a Sedgemoor Chamber Business Award - Apprentice/Trainee of the Year 2025!
This incredible achievement is a true reflection of his hard work, dedication, and remarkable professionalism as one of the youngest fully qualified Funeral Directors in the UK. Orlando not only achieved his qualification with Distinction, but he continues to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to every family he supports. His attention to detail and maturity are far beyond his years, and it’s no surprise that this has earned him such an outstanding honour.
His journey to this point has been far from easy. After losing his dad at just 15, Orlando discovered a calling to support others through their most difficult moments. That personal experience shaped the deeply compassionate approach he brings to his role today. He doesn’t just provide a service he offers comfort, understanding, and genuine care to every family he walks alongside. This award is more than a recognition of his professional excellence; it is a celebration of his character, resilience, and the meaningful difference he makes in our community every single day.

“I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the people who helped shape my journey from the very beginning. Your guidance has pushed me to learn, to understand, and to carry myself with the respect and care that this work deserves. More than anything, I want to do the very best I can for every family who places their trust in me. It’s an honour to be entrusted with looking after the loved ones who mean so much to them, and I promise I will always give nothing less than my absolute best.”
