You don’t need to be afraid of your feelings.
You don’t need to run from them, numb them, swallow them, or pretend you’re fine.
Your emotions are not here to punish you - they’re here to move through you.
I’m going to say that again – YOUR EMOTIONS ARE NOT HERE TO PUNISH YOU!
And when you know how to meet them… everything changes.
Here is the simple 4-step process I use (and teach) to help you feel the feeling without getting swallowed by it:
1️⃣ - Name it & locate it
Bring the mind and the body back into the same room
2️⃣ - Give yourself 90 seconds
Emotions move in waves. When you truly let yourself be with the intensity of an emotion, it lasts for around 90 seconds before it starts to ease.
When you allow the wave to rise, it will also fall.
3️⃣ - Differentiate
You are not the feeling
You’re the one who’s noticing it
(Just like you have toes… and you are not your toes!)
4️⃣ - Remember Peace is still available here.
Gently whisper: “It still feels good to breathe.”
This is the alchemy
This is the moment it all starts to shift
This is where your whole nervous system softens and you learn that it’s ok to feel EVERYTHING
Learning to feel your feelings is how you become emotionally free.
It’s how you stop reacting from fear or overwhelm… and start responding from clarity, power, and peace.
You deserve to feel safe inside yourself.
You deserve a life where your emotions aren’t scary - they’re guiding you home. 💛
