1. You reached a certain level and took your eye off the ball...
Thinking it's OK to stop meditation, journaling, breathwork, affirmations and/ or whatever else got you where you are. Life got in the way... A week or two passed, and you don't feel that great anymore.
This is no time to rest on your laurels, my friend!
If your old tools don't feel like they're doing the job right now, let's get curious. Let's try something new. Go for a walk, meditate and ask for guidance. Our higher selves are always guiding us... You just need to allow yourself to let the wisdom in. To give yourself the permission to fulfill your fundamental need to feel good - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You're worth it! 💙
2. You push yourself to 'be happy', pushing aside any uncomfortable emotions. The more you push and bully yourself, the worse it gets.
In this case, a good cry might be in order. Or a long meditation every day for a few days. A visit to the forest, asking your 'tree friends' for help, if you're that way inclined. Or some compassion based therapy. Be honest with yourself please. Those emotions are there to guide you on your journey. Allow them. Give them space to tell you their message. You could even have a conversation with them (My own 'Conversation with fear' was a revelation).
We need to deal with any lower emotions as they come up, in order to jump a few notches on the emotional scale. So, give that anger/ guilt/ fear etc some air time!
For example, you could set an alarm, with the intention to spend 10 mins worrying. Really give those emotions all your energy and attention, I dare you!
Every time we release some of our old emotional baggage, we create space for more joy and love and gratitude in our lives 🙏💙
3. You know where your path is taking you. You know that's exactly where you WANT to go. If you feel really blessed, you might even know your life's true purpose. Yet, you are procrastinating. You don't allow yourself to go in the direction of your desire. You're stuck. Glued to the spot like tarmac to your shoe on a scorching August day.
This can feel REALLY awful (I should know! 😆😅)...Because you have previously accessed this super yummy higher vibrational place, to go back to where you once have lived, is a much bigger vibrational gap.
This is where a radical dose of honesty comes in. Yes, you are brave enough to examine this up close! 👊
Where have you not been showing up the way you would like?
What promises have you given to yourself, and not kept?
Write it down! Journaling is an amazing tool to help you get clarity.
Give yourself some love and compassion - as my dear colleague and friend Gabriella says: 'Don't PUSH yourself through it, LOVE yourself through it!' You are where you are, and it is OK. In fact, it is just perfect, because it will lead you to what will unfold next, and insights will follow. There are no mistakes, only learning.
You are still on your beautiful path. NOW is always a new beginning 💚💚💚
