Building Control Surveyors Ltd [BCS] now incorporates a superb design development venue called BCS Teulon the Workshop located in a secure 10 acre parkland location for the exclusive use of its corporate building control portfolio clients. Our originally separate digital imaging and data communications divisions have now been affilated with Apostrophe Designs and currently is linked to Docklands Digital Media. During 2013 we hope to offer even more better value coupled to improved quality service delivery.

My Sunday afternoon…. Mid afternoon’s I usually take a few hours to read reports in readiness for the next day’s round of Building Safety Regulator’s meetings. Highly experienced trained building inspectors working on major high risk buildings (sky scrapers / high rise complex buildings) are trained to trawl through hundreds of pages of technical documents in order to assess a design’s compliance. It takes a lot of focus and discipline- and skill to find the needle in the haystack!!!! This is where Chaos theory and alignment to singularity using key requirement assessments is applied at its best !!! Happy Sunday.

10.01.2026_ WE ARE EXPANDING : Yes !! Our company is expanding !! And it’s still a family run business.

New talented Building Inspectors have now been recruited to cope with the significantly increased demand for our services, which also features new structural engineering scrutiny on major complex projects.

We are now offering our talent and resources on projects directly with the Building Safety Regulator on Higher Risk Buildings and for the past two years have worked successfully and directly with UK Government Departments as a validated expert provider of Building Regulation services on their buildings.

We also now assist and work with council based building control bodies to help develop and reinforce their ENFORCEMENT processes so that developers that do not follow the law are swiftly prosecuted so that the public are safeguarded from rogue builders, bad design work and unsafe buildings.

Our recent HSE BSR Audit -we passed with flying colours !! We were commended for the company’s development of one of the most advanced and rigorous regulatory control systems used in building control which utilises the power of AI.

27.12.2025_We end this year phenomenally….!! We are expanding the technical group by adding more new team members in January 2026.

1.0 We have also been told by the HSE Building Safety Regulator that they were very pleased with our company’s development and passed their stringent audits.
2.0 We have also been confirmed as an appointed building control service provider who will now offer technical building control services directly to the HSE Building Safety Regulator and directly with government departments- starting our business aim to reduce work on domestic projects and to focus on commercial and complex multiuser projects as of 2026….
3.0 We are now working in conjunction with other local authority based building control bodies to work on more stringent Enforcement Processes to strengthen compliance with the Building Regulations.
4.0 BCS Compliance Systems [A subsidiary company we own] received praises for the development of some very advanced data handling systems from the HSE Building Safety Regulator, especially for the company’s work on AI supported response systems….
We look forward to 2026…

Dr Morteza Aboutalebi [Chartered Engineer], is part of our team now based at our main offices in Warlies Park House. He oversees structural engineering compliance matters of designs sent to us in conjunction with other Registered Building Inspectors based in that office. A great team that works very well together.
