Why do we love Cacao so much?

A question you may be pondering, or not but here's a post about it anyway 😆

Cacao didn't just gently appear in our lives...

She kicked down the door and was like "Ok, you've suffered long enough now. Well, you will still suffer but you will have me now."

We we're both depressed, full of anxiety and addictions.

Almost a year into parenthood and fresh out of lock down number 200 (lol). 🤨Gosh remember those days?

What cacao ceremonies did for us was more than a gentle opening of the heart. It was a release of generational trauma, crying our hearts out (every time for me) and screaming the house down (in one case at least) as the energy that had kept us down for so long was being untethered from our hearts.

Did she completely removed depression, anxiety and addictions? No, because that's not her job. But she did give us the option and courage to do so ourselves.

We have worked and are still working hard on creating our own SUSTAINABLE happiness by working with her, our gurus and mantras, and YES we are free from all substance abuse and addiction! Again that was OUR hard work and the grace of guru, never to be underestimated!

A realisation i had recently:
YOU can't facilitate a cacao ceremony because SHE is the facilitator. All you do is welcome people into the space and make the medicine. She does EVERYTHING ELSE.
I have never felt like i have been a facilitator when holding space in this capacity and that's because all i am in that moment is the vessel for her work to be done.

Sorry if this prickles some of you but i think it's so important to honour her as what she is.

Literally, when people come to us at the end of a ceremony or kirtan and express how amazing we are at whatever it is that has happened we are feeling "It is not me, there are much bigger things working though us here that are happy to be thanked by your presence alone".

And this is something we are working hard to remember in every moment.

Anyway i digress, our cacao is in stock hence the pictures 😆 and we have changed our name from Simply Spiritual Healing to AMRUTHAM so don't worry, we're still here.

I’m back with the first Women’s Circle of 2026 ladies ❤️🌺

And I’m very happy to be returning to offering women this sacred space to connect and take time for yourself.

This month we will be celebrating surviving the winter as we begin to unfurl and reawaken into life 🌺❤️

Our next Kirtan at Coxley Engind house is Friday 27th February

The last Kirtan was incredible, such wonderful energy, it was so good that the walls were sweating that’s only ever happened once before. Let’s see if we can do it again at the end of this month.

We have varied amounts that you can pay to make it more accessible to anyone that would like to join.
