A new experience at Snapethorpe.
We had Nikki, a Templespa consultant, as a guest.
For almost two hours she relaxed and unwinded, with different techniques, the body and mind, both for residents and relatives, but also for the staff.
The images say it all about the special moment. At the end of the presentation, a raffle took place, with our colleague Anna winning the Templespa prize.

An hour with Katie from Leeds United Exercises Class brought joy to our residents. Easy exercises, exercises with objects, exercises for all physical possibilities. Pleasant music and Katie's calm and warm voice brought smiles and many voices with "thank you".
We look forward to seeing you at the next classes in 2026.

World Kindness Day is an annual event that encourages people to practice kindness in their daily lives. Our staff highlighted the importance of empathy, understanding and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world. Together, they participated in the day’s activity for 30 minutes: “Choose Kindness”. Well done! 👏

In our Activity Calendar we had “Health Day”.
Our residents chose to prepare a fruit salad. 🍌🍊🍎🍓🍋🍇🍏🥝🍐
We set up the tables, got the equipment and started cutting the fruit. After an hour, the salad was ready. Bev and Mandy helped their mothers and the other residents cut the fruit. The end result: a large bowl of fruit that our residents enjoyed. We finished the activity by playing some songs requested by the residents on Alexa.

Our residents of Snapethorpe eagerly awaited the Remembrance Day service. Together with Reverend Martine, the Vicar, and Janice, the Lay Pastoral Minister, from St. George’s Church in Lupset, our residents and their relatives sang, prayed and told stories about Armistice Day.

Moments with maximum emotional charge for our residents, relatives and staff, on November 9, Remembrance Day. All units were decorated and a moment of silence was held at 11:00.
The afternoon brought Remembrance Bingo, both on the First Floor and the Ground Floor.

Singalong Days, Amanda, put on a real Remembrance Day show here at Snapethorpe. Together with our residents, she sang and danced, bringing an hour of joy and lots of emotion to Snapethorpe.
