As a child growing up in care, I always found great comfort in taking care of others, and would often dream of one day running an urban farm or a therapy farm where children like myself could help heal animals of all shapes and sizes that had suffered awful abuse at the hands of humans, I would often stare out the classroom window and wonder what if........
when I left school I took any job I could working with animals, so I could learn more. I was so grateful at every opportunity that I would often work extra hours so I could spend more time doing what I loved most

How did Buddy’s Angels Rescue UK start?
One day while sharing a lost dog on Facebook I saw that an elderly dog called Holly was being advertised for free on gumtree, I was saddened and horrified knowing full well the potential dangers of her possibly ending up in the wrong hands and being used as a bait dog, I emailed them and offered Holly a home, where she could live out the rest of her days being pampered by my family and on that very day she was dropped off, as a family we all felt that Holly didn't suit her, we thought it was more suitable to name her Angel, she was scared and confused for a long time she didn't like any affection and would bite us, but with time and love she started to want the odd cuddle, that was when we knew she finally felt how good love and affection could be.we had a wonderful 20 months with this girl.
Not long after we got Angel we saw a dog called Ben being advertised for free, again the owners were not aware of the dangers, both Ben and Angel Became permenant fosters of Angels Hope Rescue, we will never regeret sharing what time we had with these wonderful dogs,

Our Third edition came to our family in the summer of 2016. When I first saw him that year, we knew instantly that Ralph was meant to come and join our family, Ralph was in Romania at this time. When Ralph was found by his Romanian rescuers he was unable to walk on all fours and was dragging himself so he could have some food and love, his rescuers took him to the vets for an xray to see if his broken back could be fixed, unfortunately his injury had been left too long and therefor there was no chance if any of a successful operation, at this time I was still volunteering for another rescue,
Because Ralph enjoys meeting and greeting people so much and we are hoping he will be a fully fledged P.A.T. dog, Ralph would be the perfect candidate

In September 2016 I finally found the courage to become a fully operating and insured foster based rescue. Angels Hope had finally developed into Angels Hope Rescue then became Buddy’s Angels Rescue UK , this would not have been possible without the support of some wonderful friends that had stuck with me through the tough times, with the help of a wonderful team the Angels Hope Family has grown, without them we would not have achieved with what we have so far and without them the dreams for Angels Hope Rescue would not be possible.
our latest permanent foster and an ambassador for dogs and humans with Hidden disabilities was Buddy,
Buddy has suffered with epilepsy since 8 months, he lived up to the grand age of 9 years, he had a wonderful owner that never gave up on him, but unfortunately his owner had become seriously ill and passed away which left Buddy without a full time carer,
When we saw him on Facebook, after a huge plea for help had gone out we knew he was special, we didn't see a disability, we saw an angel that just needed a chance
Our aims and visions for Buddy’s Angels Rescue UK
We aim to be a foster based rescue only, which means we will not be reliant on emergency boarding or kennels, the downside to this means we will be limited on what we can do and how many we can save, we feel that this is what is right for our rescue,
We aim to be open and Honest about where all the funds and what money gets spent on them, Each dog or cat has a file where it shows what has been spent on them and what for.
Our aim for the future, we hope to be able to rent a small holding where we can expand on what we do in rehabilitating dogs like Barry and Scooby
We Hope to become an registered Charity and to have a sanctuary where animals of all shapes and sizes can have the security of a save shelter when possible.
So far this has proven to be very difficult with very limited funds and most landlords will not rent to those with dogs.
We need a big enough space for up to 3 or 6 kennels, where each dog could have a large run and enough space to burn of excess energy. space for a caravan where dogs can some one to one time and learn to live in a loving family home, We would eventually like to have enough space for rescue hens too, It is one of our dreams to be able to provide a save haven for ex caged hens, while they recover from their ordeal and to be able to fnd their very own forever family,
Where we offer lifetime support to such dogs and their adoptive families, we do not make any money as all funds are paid direct to the rescues abroad and the transport team from the potential family, we are hoping that this prevents many families struggling with a dog they do not understand and a dog with so many fears that they cannot cope with, where it becomes so difficult they feel they have no other alternative but to hand their dogs into the pounds, in return we ask they they donate a small amount to a spay and neuter charity.
We have a no kill policy, we will only consider euthanasia if under advice from the vets because dog or cat is so ill it affects their qulaity of life
every dog or cat deserves a chance,
They have suffered enough at the hands of humans,
They need us humans to step up and put the injustice right
