Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic procedure where natural pigment is applied to the epidermal layer of the scalp via a needle with the aim to add density and replicate the appearance of natural hair follicles.

SMP carried out across the scalp and in particular the crown area, where more scalp was visible compared to the rest of the hair. By carefully layering SMP through that area and blending it across the entire top, we’ve reduced that contrast and created the look of a fuller, thicker head of hair.

SMP is a gradual process, built up over multiple sessions to ensure the pigment settles naturally and blends evenly with the scalp. Each session adds more density and definition while allowing time for proper healing.

You’ll notice this client went VERY red after each session — this is completely normal, especially for some skin types. Redness and mild swelling typically subside within 24–48 hours, revealing a much softer, more natural healed result.

I’ve also included photos taken in natural daylight to show realistic results — no studio lighting tricks, and absolutely no filters in any of the photos.
