I’m a qualified yoga teacher, having completed my 200hr training my with Drishti Beats Yoga, a Vinyasa Flow / Power Yoga / Baptiste based training scheme accredited by the Yoga Alliance. I have almost 20 years yoga experience.
In class I often use music and a theme, as well as a flowing series of postures, sometimes concentrating on a particular body part. I aim to leave students with a feeling of contentment and peace after class, knowing you have had both a good workout and stretch, and that you have had some time and space for yourself.
I adjust my classes to the needs and experience of the students, with modifications for different abilities, pregnany and injuries. I like to provide a challenge in class, whether that is an extended stretch or more advanced modifications.
Yoga has many physical health benefits and is a great compliment to other sports as it increases balance, flexibility, core strength, coordination and can help prevent injury. Mentally is can relieve stress and lift mood, help with sleep and improve mental resilience.
