✨Actual real life tips to prioritise your own self-care✨
It’s easy to say “I need to prioritise my own self-care” but with our crazy lives, that can often be harder to actually do without a little bit of help and thought. So here are a couple of tips from me to you to help get you started 💜
🦩Put it in your calendar - you schedule everything else from school drop offs, social nights out, the gym…. So why not schedule time for your own self-care activities too, you deserve it!
🦩Make self-care the easy option. Leave your running shoes by the door, the yoga mat out, or your book by the side of the bed. Lower that barrier to entry, my friend!
🦩Tie it into something you’re already doing- going out for lunch, plan a walk after. Going for coffee, take 3 deep breaths whilst you wait. You get the gist 💜
🦩Practice saying no. No is a full sentence and that’s ok 👍 Conserve your energy by saying no to things you don’t want to do so you can prioritise the time for those things that you do - a lot easier said than done (don’t I know it)!
