Imbolc honours the midway point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

After the Imbolc celebrations today we begin to welcome in the first waves of Spring, interwoven into the very fabric of nature we are invited to reawaken layer by layer from the depths of hibernation from the winter months.

Peeking outwards, to glimpse towards the future and the hope of new beginnings.

We can take time at this point on the wheel of the seasons to consider the seeds that we have (either knowingly or unknowingly) planted and kept fertile during the winter months, whilst honouring our deep connection to the Earth.

As you begin to invite these seeds to sprout, to push upwards through the soil, with a gentle resolve and determination, deep trust and resoluteness, know that with love, care and attention they will bloom into fruition.

The Goddess of Imbolc is Saint Brigid. We can call in her beautiful strengths and qualities - she is a real living spirit amongst us.

Known as the Goddess of Fire, Brigid lights our path ahead with her sacred flame. Representing goodness, fertility (what is it you wish to birth into the world), generosity, kindness, poetry and prayer.

She is the spiritual elixir of all healing waters (wells, springs, rivers), new life, new beginnings, spiritual growth and prosperity. A Warrior Healer Goddess who is filled with grace.

Born at the exact moment of day break Brigid is a bringer of hope and renewal. Often pictured carrying a baby lamb representing tenderness and innocence, and a wolf by her side – having the courage to walk your true path and trust your intuition.

Her colours are green, yellow, red and white.

Crystals to keep close , Citrine, Green Aventurine, Fire Agate and Clear Quartz.

You can light a candle, meditate or spend time in nature and invite Goddess Brigid to grace your path and light the journey ahead, a journey of new beginnings, a fresh start, a new chapter - where anything is possible.

Neptune has made its transition into Aries (January 26th)

To give a little perspective on Neptune’s movements in the night sky. This dreamy planet only transitions each zodiac sign around every 14 years taking a whole 165 years to orbit the sun.

The last time it was in Aries was all the way back between 1861 to 1875.

It will remain in Aries until March 2039.

So what does this mean for us. It is big a big shift for sure.

An invitation to dream a new future into being.

Neptune is the planet of dreams, intuition, insight, imagination, spirituality, beliefs and ideology. It was only discovered in 1846.

Known as the God of the Seas. The mysterious planet - loving all that isn’t tangible.

As it moves from the outer worldly zodiac sign of Pisces and into the fiery confident leader Aries, this transition invites us to anchor Neptune’s spiritual energy into our own personal power.

We are likely to receive clarity on where we need to go next and what it is we need to be doing combined with a deep sense of purpose - giving us the confidence to step out of our comfort zone and take courageous steps towards that which feels most in alignment to our highest path.

Aries is the creation point of the zodiac, this transition offers you a blank canvas for that which you wish to create, and an invitation to honour your spiritual growth.

Listen to your solar plexus, which holds the element of fire – here resides your gut instinct. If it is the right action/path for you, your body will move towards it, there will be a physical lift within this Chakra.

Know that you have all the resources you need, that you have done the work, you have prepared for this time.

Collectively we are being invited to harness the potential this huge and rare transition holds for each and every one of us.

Crystal Immersion Day.

I don’t usually post about individual events/courses but I am blowing up with excitement about the Crystal Immersion Day on the 7th February.

10:30am to 4pm, price £75. Held at my Reiki and Meditation Space in Ware Herts.

Over the last 15 years I have regularly held 3 different Crystal workshops; Introduction to Crystals, Advanced Crystals and also Creating Crystal Grids. (Plus the Crystal Healing and Crystal Healing Teachers certificate courses. Oh and children’s Crystal workshops too).

Last year I decided to combine the 'best bits' of each workshop, plus new Crystal insights and techniques into a one day event where you will be invited to delve deep into the magic of these beautiful and precious gifts from the earth.

We will explore:

How crystals are formed
The science and studies behind how Crystals can help us
How to intuitively choose the perfect crystals for you
How to cleanse and program your crystals with intention
Where to keep the crystals you choose to work with (placements in the home or office)
The varied natural formations of crystals and what these formations bring to each space
Advanced pendulum dowsing
High vibrational crystals
Crystal elixirs and room sprays
Sacred geometry
The incredible power of Crystal Grids (plus creating your own)
Crystal placements on the body (with specific layouts)
Plus cleansing your energy with quartz, aura scanning and rose quartz circles.
And Crystal Meditations with the quartz singing bowls.

You will receive a manual, a certificate of attendance and crystals of course.

This immersion day is suitable for all levels - whether you’re new to crystals or would like to deepen your knowledge.

It’s the first Full Moon of 2026, and it falls in the watery, intuitive sign of Cancer. The Moon loves to be in the sign of Cancer, it is where it feels most at home, and each of us can tap into this harmonious energy.

Today it is a Super Full Wolf Moon! The moon will appear much bigger and brighter in the sky, bringing more light to our inner worlds. Our last supermoon until November.

There may well be a sense of sentimental nostalgia today.

As we transition from one cycle to the next this moon asks us to let go with love - we are in the process of saying goodbye to old parts of ourselves which no longer serve the whom we are becoming.

It can feel as if endings and beginnings are occurring simultaneously, amplified by the bright light of the supermoon. This is your inner world simply adjusting itself to accommodate what wants to immerge. This energetic overlap can be beautifully revealing and holds the spark of new potential.

As we lean into the exciting new hopes and aspirations for the coming year we may feel a little reflective on what’s been and gone; however it is a gentle and loving moon, that asks you to nourish and nurture yourself (self care and self compassion are key today), and to connect with those who make you feel seen and safe (especially animals :) )

This moon invites you pause and listen gently to the quiet whispers and guidance from your heart. The wisest and most ancient part of your being.

And to know 'all is well with your soul' (I heard this phrase in a song recently - just beautiful)

Very special Winter Solstice Meditation and Ceremony

Together we honoured the sacred darkness of the longest night and welcomed the rebirth of the Sun.

Releasing to the healing waters of the Earth that which felt heavy or dense (spent energies from the last 9 year cycle).

We created prayer bundles filled with components symbolising gratitude and hope for the year ahead.

Wishing you all a smooth sailing festive season.

And thank you again for following this little page which I believe is now in its 14th year.

The Winter Solstice honours both the darkness and the return to light, Solstice meaning 'Sun Standing Still' suggesting a pause where we can reflect on the natural cycles of our life-giving Sun.
And begin to wrap up the year gone by.

This year, it falls tomorrow afternoon (21st) at 3:03pm.

We are encouraged to reflect on what feels outdated or no longer needed. Old ways of being that may restrict us from walking in alignment to our true calling/purpose. That which needs releasing before we step gently into a fresh new cycle. What would you like to leave behind in 2025?

We may naturally look back over the past year and wish that we could have changed certain events or outcomes –so try to avoid the tendency to grip on to that which is meant to end.

An invitation to slow down, to show up for ourselves, to rest and replenish, and tend to anything which needs our care and attention. Honouring natures rhythms.

And importantly to move towards whatever it is that brings you peace, calm and tranquillity, (even with the external excitement of seasonal festivities).

Acknowledge this time of reset, cleansing and renewal, so you can effortlessly unroot from the past and transition into whom you are becoming.

For 6 months the days have been getting shorter as the darkness grew. But on the Winter Solstice, the Light returns. From here the days will continue to grow longer and brighter until the Sun is strong enough to return life to everything in nature.

You can sense there is magic brewing deep down in the dark soil as a new cycle of rebirth and renewal is beginning on the turning of the wheel.

The Winter Solstice is a beautiful beacon of Hope.
