We’re thrilled to share that Launchpad is now live and being delivered across schools in the West Midlands and Warwickshire!

We recognise how challenging the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 can be. Children move from a smaller, familiar environment where they’re well known by a few teachers to a much larger school, often five or six times the size. Their safety net changes, and they can become more exposed to new social pressures and potential risks, including exploitation and online dangers.

Through Launchpad, we aim to support children during this crucial stage. We help them understand how to stay safe, recognise the risks of social media, and appreciate the power of independent thinking, knowing when not to follow the crowd. We also focus on building self-esteem, self-belief, identity and communication skills.

Importantly, Launchpad encourages healthy debate and teaches that we can disagree respectfully, but still have a voice, a vital life skill.

Our programme is designed to be engaging and enjoyable for older primary pupils, filled with team games, life skills and learning experiences that promote reflection rather than fear, helping children to flourish confidently as they move into their new environments.
