My Story

Hello and welcome to the MyEar Headband page.

My name is Mirona and I am a mum to Sonny, who is 2 years old. Sonny was born profoundly deaf and was implanted at 11 months old. Since switch-on we have tried various wearing options of which most seemed too big for his little ears. So we tried headbands and they suited us best.

Therefore I have decided to make the headbands for Sonny myself and soon parents of children at Sonny’s deaf support group (Acorns) were asking me to make some for their children as well. After positive feedback and suggestions from other mums I have decided to start selling the headbands.

The headbands are suitable for Implants as well as Hearing Aids. Please do get in touch if you would like any further information and have suggestion or ideas on how to decorate the headbands.
