This really resonates with me although I often have those "if only" moments. What do you think?
In India, we teach; "The Four Laws of Spirituality".
The first one says: "The person who comes is the right person", that is, no one enters our lives by chance, all the people around us, all those who interact with us, are there for a specific reason, for us ap make progress in all situations.
The second law says: "What happened is the only thing that could have happened." "Nothing, absolutely nothing that has happened in our lives could have been any other way." Even the smallest detail. There's no "If I had done anything else, life would have been different... "No. What happened was the only thing that could have happened, and that's how we learn the lesson and move forward." Every situation that happens in our life is ideal, even if our mind and ego are reluctant and unwilling to accept it.
The third says: "The moment when things happen is the right time:" Everything starts at the right time, not before or later. When we are ready to start something new in our lives, that is when it will happen.
The fourth and final: "When something is over, it's over." "That's it. If something is finished in our life, it is for our evolution, so it is better to let it go, move on and continue now enriched by experience.
