This lady came to Alba Health as she had misplaced lip filler that had migrated around her mouth. Please note, this was done by another clinic. We advised her to return to the clinic and let them rectify the issue, dissolve the filler and then return to us, which she did.
The product used to dissolve filler (hylauronidase) is used cautiously in order not to breakdown your own natural hylaronic acid. Clearly this has happened with the lady.
I rectified by slowly building the skin back up with vitamin and fine filler injections. Also advising on diet and consistent hydration.
Filler injections should always be placed in the correct area with the correct product. Dissolving filler should only be used in an emergency and not become normal practice for incorrect procedures.
Needless to say our client is now very happy and bravely welcomed the use of her photographs.
