🧶 🧵Our Weekly Knit & Natter Group🧵🧶☕

Our lovely residents at Willow Rose have been enjoying a relaxing session of knitting and nattering, complete with light refreshments. Today, Chelsea, our Activities Coordinator, was taught to knit by the ladies and has some homework to complete before returning next week to show off her progress!

Meanwhile, our ladies are also working on a secret mission—all will be revealed in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.

If you’d like to join us for Knit & Natter to learn to knit/crochet, enjoy some light refreshments, and spend time in a warm, cosy, and homely environment, we’d love to see you!

The halls of Willow Rose were filled with music and plenty of laughter yesterday afternoon!

Our residents and staff had their dancing shoes on and their voices warmed up as preparations continue for our top-secret mission (all will be revealed very soon… 👀).

We were thrilled to welcome Damion, who joined us for an afternoon of singing, dancing, and cherished moments shared with our residents, their families, our local community, and our amazing team.

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing carer, Leanne! 💖

She told us there’s nowhere she’d rather spend her birthday than with her Willow Rose family, and that says everything about the kind, dedicated person she is. Leanne goes above and beyond for our residents every single day and has built such beautiful bonds with all of them.

🌞 Afternoon at the Pub 🌞

Our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Noahs Ark Willenhall today for the fantastic Frankie Valli tribute act! It was an afternoon filled with a delicious two-course meal, live entertainment, bingo, dancing, and of course a little wine and beer. 🍷🍺

Everyone had such a lovely time — meeting new friends in the local community and reconnecting with old ones. One lady even recognised one of our residents… they used to visit the same hairdresser! Watching them reminisce and reconnect was truly beautiful. 💛

We all had an absolute blast dancing, chatting, and making new friends — many of whom are excited to join us at our upcoming Christmas Fair on Saturday 13th December 11am-3pm. Moments like these remind us what Willow Rose Care Home is all about: care, community, connection, creating unforgettable memories, and having lots of fun together. ❤️

A huge thank-you to Noah’s Ark for hosting such a wonderful afternoon. We will definitely be visiting again!

Gentleman’s Club at Willow Rose 🍻🎯

What a fantastic afternoon! Our gentlemen residents and their families enjoyed board games, darts, beer, wine, and plenty of football banter ⚽️.

Activities coordinators Holly and Chelsea loved hearing all the fun stories and mischievous adventures from their youth — and it’s clear that playful spirit hasn’t slowed down one bit! 😄

A huge thank you to our gentlemen for keeping us laughing, sharing their stories, and making the afternoon truly unforgettable.

Our lovely residents enjoyed a relaxing pamper session filled with colour, conversation, refreshments, and lots of smiles! From soft pastels to bold brights, everyone chose a shade that made them feel fabulous.

It was a wonderful afternoon of self care, laughter, and a little sparkle - because everyone deserves a touch of glamour and to shine ⭐️

Ferdinand, one of our amazing care team members, even joined in when one of our residents insisted his nails needed a bit of TLC and some colour too! 😄💅🏻
