A state-of-the-art Optical Coherence Tomography examination (OCT) is a 3D dimensional cross- sectional scan of the back of your eye, as well as taking a digital photograph. The scan is non-invasive, painless, simple and quick and can detect the most subtle changes to the retina. It gives an invaluable ongoing record of the health and condition of your eyes. An OCT can detect Age-related macular degeneration, Diabetes, Glaucoma, Macular holes, Vitreous detachments. We also provide full contact lens service including contact lens aftercare and the fitting and supply of gas permeable, soft, disposable, multifocal and tinted contact lenses. Regular eye examinations are particularly important for children. We offer a large collection of children’s frames including Nike, Lacoste, Rockstar and frames with a magnetic sunglass clip as well as prescription swimming goggles and sports protect eyewear. We also specialise in Myopia control lenses. There is no charge for eye examinations for children under sixteen, and if new spectacles are required then an NHS voucher can be issued towards the cost. We stock a vast array of spectacle frames and sunglasses, with collections from France, Italy and Germany. We also offer Prescription swimming Goggles and Ski Goggles.
